Andreas Pereira is set to leave Fulham for Palmeiras, but Manchester United won’t receive a squeal from the contract as the Brazilian is leaving for the same price he bought.
Manchester United will not cash out from the sale of Andreas Pereira of Fulham to Palmeiras, as the Brazilian leaves for the same £10 million fee he bought. Pereira, who joined Old Trafford in 2012 after her 16th birthday, rose to rank at Red Devils Academy.
He made a bit of a breakthrough in 2019, following some loan spells under Ole Gunnar Solskal. Despite signing a new four-year contract, he was loaned to Lazio in 2020 and to Flamengo the following season. With the reduced match times in Manchester, Pereira moved permanently to Pulham in 2022 with a reporting fee of £10 million.
Three years later, Pereira is back in Brazil at the cottage where he became an integral part of Marco Silva’s team. However, we expect the Red Devils to have pocketed 20% of the profits from his sales, as Pereira reportedly was selling again for £10 million.

Fulham confirmed Friday that Pereira left Craven Cottage after 119 appearances at the club. The fees remain private, but are believed to be around £10 million, Manchester Evening News reports.
The 29-year-old remained in his Fulham contract for a year. United will not receive windfall as Fulham did not make any profit from this sale. Pereira’s departure paves the way for young Star Josh King, who has started in 10th place at the start of the Premier League season.
On leaving England, Pereira said: “From my first day at Fulham, I felt I was home. I would like to thank my teammates, staff and fans every time. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together three years later.
However, he made abundantly clear to Rio Ferdinand in last year’s conversation, so his memories of his stint at Old Trafford may not be so cherished.
The Brazilian set out when Eric Ten Hag arrived, quickly realising that he was not included in the Dutch blueprint and opting not to discover whether his situation could improve.
Speaking about the Rio Ferdinand Presents, Pereira said, “This is when I returned to England (after my loan to Flamengo). Eric Ten Hag, he worked for PSV when I was 16,” he continued, referring to the period he spent in the club’s academy system in the Dutch club.
“Before we set off for United, the (PSV) president and Eric Ten Hag spoke to me and my dad and said, “It looks like everything is set for you in PSV. If we’re here, we’ll play for the first team.” But I just went to United and I said, “I’m going to unite.”
“So I didn’t want to talk to Eric (2022) because I knew him. At the time, I knew it was a conversation like, “Andreas, stay here.”
“‘You’re not going to play every game. Maybe one in three games, you’re around the team.” That’s not what I wanted, I wanted to play. ”
He further states: “Bundled together, you said, ‘Are I really going to do this? Ultimately, you’re not really sure.
During his tenure at the club, the Brazilian made a total of 75 appearances for United, scoring four goals and providing five assists.
