Alan Shearer has called for a drama to resolve Alexander Isaac’s transfer drama by the weekend, but Gary Rinker fears he’ll be dragged over to Newcastle and Liverpool
Gary Reinker has increased the chance that Alexander Isaac Saga will continue to drag through January to extend the nightmare of Newcastle United’s move. The Swedish striker continues to refuse to play for the magpie as he angled it for his move to Liverpool.
Newcastle has also digged his heels and claims Isaac is not on sale, but he claims that if the Premier League champions can get closer to a £150 million valuation, they can win cash. Transfer soap opera undermines their hopes of signing forward, forcing head coach Eddie Howe to get the field player out of position in the absence of Star 9.
Crunch time for all involved is approaching, and the transfer window will now close at 7pm next Monday. Magpie legend Alan Shearer says the problem must be resolved in some way by the weekend, but Linecars suspect it can be run and run.

Saying that the rest is a football podcast, Shearer said:
“I know that last night (Monday) the chairman (Yasir Al-Rumayyan) was in Newcastle. My guess is that in the next two or three days we’ll have to sort things out. We won’t drag it down until the weekend.
However, Lineker is not sure that the deadline marks the end of the line. “I feel it might go to Wire. I can’t see Isaac change his songs. It has to come from him (to play for Newcastle again).
“But if it stays in a deadlock, it goes to the end of the window. Then nothing happens… it’s not easy to transfer onto the line anyway, so especially with the amounts associated with these complications.
“If they don’t, I think it’ll drift in January, which isn’t good for everyone.
The Newcastle chief met with the ISAK to resolve the situation. Howe is not part of those talks, he is exhausting his patience. Speaking of his side’s 3-2 home defeat to Liverpool, he said:
“I have prepared my team and given all the energy to players who want to play for Newcastle, and I think that’s where my energy is best placed at the moment.
“We want to be clear, we’re at the start of this season, so we want to move forward, we want to change the story. We’re interested in action and we have to get results.
“We gave us two really good performances. It ended up being one point. It’s hard for us to take, especially in this moment when you’re looking for a positive moment that clings to you. But we’ll fight.
