Alexander Isaac has set his sights on winning the trophy after Liverpool’s £155 million transfer was confirmed. The biggest saga of the summer finally ended two and a half hours after the deadline ended at 7pm, but the Reds finally got the man after a prolonged negotiation with Newcastle.
Liverpool has spent more than £450 million, adding Isaac to Florian Wiltz, Hugo Echicchique, Milos Kerkez and Jeremy Fripon. The Premier League champions are expected to compete for Champions League glory as a result of this season, but their latest additions enjoy the challenge.
He said: “I want to win everything. Yeah (just as easy).”
After going on a strike to force a move to Anfield, Isaac was clearly over the moon and was able to get a taste of his first football as a Liverpool player in his next match against Burnley before the Merseyside Derby against Everton was invited this month.
“I feel amazing,” Isak added. “It’s been a long journey to come here, but it’s very difficult to be part of this team, this club and all the teams it represents. It’s something I’m proud of and I’m really looking forward to.
“I’m happy to be finished and get back to work. I’m looking forward to seeing my teammates and fans and coming back there.”

Following the move from Eintracht Frankfurt, there were concerns about how Isak would fit alongside his fellow signing Hugo Ekitike, who had gotten off to a bright start in the UK.
However, Liverpool’s new number nine, Isaac stands for himself to work with current forward crops. He said: “I think I should give a lot, I think there’s a lot to improve. I’m a striker, but I always want to give my team as much as possible, but so are my goals beyond that.”
Newcastle was forced to compromise on the £150 million fee demand early in the window, making the light-headed with a farewell message to Sweden International very clear.
Their Ice Cold 37 Word statement read: “Newcastle United can announce the sale of striker Alexander Isaac to Liverpool with a key UK record transfer fee. Swedish International joined Magpies from Real Sociedad in 2022, making 109 appearances in all competitions.”
Newcastle has agreed to a £55 million deal for Brentford striker Yoan Wyssa, whom he hopes to close on the deadline, after bringing in Nick Ultemaid in his club record signature last week.
