Manchester United are preparing for another busy transfer deadline today, allowing the clock to hit up to six deals before 7pm. The Red Devils are trying to bolster Reuben Amorim’s team in multiple areas, but are offloading multiple players who are deemed surplus to the requirements of their head coaches.
Brian Mbemo, Mass Cuña, Benjamin Cesco and Diego Leon all arrived this summer, but the mixed results this season have made it clear that many supporters need more additions to return to European football. Here, Express Sport is looking at six deals that are going on today involving United.
Rasmus Hojlund
Rasmus Hojlund, who was kicked out of Old Trafford following the capture of Sesco, agreed to a loan move to Naples and is currently in Italy, putting the final touches on his move.
United and Napoli have agreed to a transaction that, according to the BBC, aimed at the striker to make his move permanent as a £38 million transfer if certain conditions are met.
Denmark International was hoping to stay in Manchester and fight for his spot, but is set to be one of the exits for the first deadline.
Emi Martinez
Signing a new goalkeeper was a priority for United after adding some of the necessary firepower before the window.
Senne Lammens was considered a preferred option, but it has not been agreed with Royal Antwerp.
Due to a lack of development, United are back at Aston Villa Stopper Emimartinez.
It will take some time to see whether or not you can sign the World Cup winner before 7pm.

Kobbie Mainoo
Kobbie Mainoo wants to leave Old Trafford in search of more regular playtime in the World Cup year.
Amorim has confirmed he is in a direct competition with club captain Bruno Fernandez as he has failed to start any of his three league games this season.
But United have blocked the move so far, and Mainoo hopes to be able to secure a loan today.
Antony
Antony can be forgiven for feeling a bit blush when Real Betis, who enjoyed a positive loan spell last season, announces that he has withdrawn his winger’s offer.
However, he is desperate to end his unlucky time in the UK and realizes that both the Saudi Arabia and Turkish windows will remain open from today if the deal with Betis cannot be revived. United will try to offload Antony in the next few hours.
Tyrell Malacia
La Liga Club Elche approached United about the possibility of signing another member of Tyrell Malacia’s “Bomb Squad.”
The left-back is struggling to find a suitor this summer, but for the rest of the season, he is about to lend it to Elche.
Carlos Valleva
United pursued Brighton midfielder Carlos Bailba, but in August they thought the price close to £100 million would be too much of a spend this summer.
But that would certainly send a message to their rivals that if they could close the deal with their 21-year-olds today, United meant business. Alejandro Garnacho sales could go some way to fund the new midfielder.
