Fredrik Gardale, a former police detective who investigated the fixtures in Sweden, claims that many Premier League players are involved in fixers
The detective who led the investigation into the revision of a football match in Sweden claims Premier League players are guilty of the game.
In a Fredrik Gardare investigation, former Manchester City midfielder Dickson Etuhu pleaded guilty to attempted corrections to the match. Etuhu was banned from football for five years in 2020 after being determined to have tried to fix the game between IFK Gothenburg and AIK in 2017, with 43-year-old AIK goalkeeper Kyriakos Stamatopoulos performing at around £160,000.
And Gardare claims that the phone was found during an illegal casino attack during the final investigation in 2021, and holds evidence that multiple Premier League players are involved in fixers.
“It was a very priority from my side. I set the entire team for this investigation,” Ghadare told the Daily Mail. “But at the same time, police said in December that year, “That’s it.”
“We’ve provided information directly to the Swedish Football Federation and said, ‘This is serious.’ I hope they called the UK FA, but I don’t know. This is important for both Swedish soccer and soccer in several countries.

“It’s important that England and International Football stop fixing the ongoing match. There were multiple Premier League players (found on the phone) and we bet on yellow cards, corners and other aspects in the match.
“That phone is sitting with the Stockholm Police or the National Police. I’ve worked on hundreds of match fix cases, and this was the clearest case you could do.
“It’s not clearer than being found on a confiscated mobile phone. It’s a very good opportunity to do something about this.”
The phone is said to have “broad evidence” that it has revised matches in several leagues across Europe and in UEFA Nations League. The report states that the FA “has not received the survey results” but would like to evaluate them.
In response to Ghadare’s claims, Swedish FA sincere officer Johann Cresson said, “It is correct that in 2021, the Swedish FA received general information from the police that after the raid on illegal casinos, it was found information about match fixes at both the national and international levels, but the intelligence we received never received (we received for any rankings).
