Man Utd Strike Emi Martinez As the Agreement Transfer is One Step Closer | Football | Sports

Manchester United reportedly agreed to personal terms with Emi Martinez, but has yet to resolve the transfer fees with Aston Villa. The Red Devils are about to sign a new goalkeeper who Andreonana failed to make a compelling case between the sticks. His disastrous displays against the town of Grimsby appear to have prompted a final ditch attempt to sign an alternative.

Martinez was linked with United earlier this summer, and they allegedly revived their interest ahead of Monday’s deadline. It was reported on Sunday morning that a £40 million bid was being prepared for the World Cup winner. It has now been revealed that United has reached a major breakthrough just over the 24 hours remaining in the window.

According to Fabrizio Romano, they agreed to personal terms with Martinez and consultations are underway at the club level. It remains to be seen whether the 32-year-old villa, who will remain tied up until the summer of 2029, is ready to sell.

They are always left barely to land an alternative, but they are said to be weighing the movements of Royal Antwerp Stopper Senne Runmen, who links to United through the window.

The meeting reportedly took place over the past few days, but the 23-year-old has yet to agree to personal terms with the Red Devils. Moving to the villa now appears to be the most likely outcome, especially if Martinez completes his switch to Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, Telegraph has reported that United can include Jadon Sancho in some exchange offers for Martinez. The Winger is considered a surplus of the requirements by Reuben Amorim who spent on loan at Chelsea last season.

By including him in Martinez’s swap agreement, United can solve two problems at once. However, there is nothing about whether they are ready to take Sancho, which is thought to make around £250,000 a week.

Onana is said to have lost the faith of United Chief, who is equally unconvinced by Altai Bay Indir. The latter was responsible for Fulham’s equalizer last weekend, and then made another mistake when Burnley leveled it out for the second time on Saturday.

Quized with a mistake after the final whi, Amorim said: “They’re humans. Everything is analyzed at Manchester United. Everyone can talk about goalkeepers, change goalkeepers, and these situations keep happening.

“We are in that moment, and I think it would be difficult to be a goalkeeper for Manchester United at this moment, but if we look at our initial goal, we can defend it better.

“We struggled with a very similar goal against Fulham because we don’t do a complete rotation of the team when the ball is on the other side. All these little things have nothing to do with the goalkeeper.”
