Newcastle is eager to add some new firepower to their offense this summer, but they have struggled in the transfer market as they rejected eight different bids for strikers
Searches for new strikers in Newcastle continue to drag, and Magpies have already seen reject eight bids from five different players this summer. Newcastle desperately needs extra firepower, with Alexander Isaac seeking to travel to Liverpool.
Isak is currently training alone while trying to force a transfer before the windows close, but with Callum Wilson moving to West Ham on a free transfer, winger Anthony Gordon being represented as a striker in Newcastle’s first two Premier League games.
Newcastle is still pushing for signing scorers, preparing for Jorgen Strand Larsen’s third bid. The Wolves have already rejected two Norwegian International offers, scoring 14 Premier League goals last season.
According to the Times, Newcastle also failed with two bids for Joan Wissa, Joan Pedro, and the other two bids for Hugo Echicicke and Benjamin Sesco. Pedro traveled £55 million to Chelsea, Ekitike joined Liverpool, and Sesco signed Manchester United.
“The striker market seems to be getting stronger each year,” Newcastle boss Eddie Howe admitted earlier this month. “Maybe it’s because we continued to grow as a team.

“There aren’t many caliber players to make us better. If potentially available, the prices seem to be rising. We’ll then address other challenges like PSR, the amount spent on the window, and the long-term impact of making a transfer.
“It’s not as clear as going out and getting players. They have to fit the team, make us better and affordable. That’s not a large group of players.”
Liverpool are ready to make a slow move for ISAK if they receive encouragement from Newcastle during their transfer, and that could happen if the magpies can eventually secure some alternatives.
And Wolf boss Vittle Pereira admitted that Larsen could leave. When asked about the striker’s future, Pereira replied.
