Reuben Amorim New Manchester United’s recruitment ends before the transfer period ends before it ends after Mason Mount Knocks – “There’s a lot to do”

Manchester United manager Reuben Amorim said he is “always talking” about the club’s ownership when it comes to improving the team.

With only a few minutes left in the transfer window that will be closed on Monday, Amorim was asked about potential conversations at the club and potential conversations recruiting new players.

“I’m always talking to them to try and improve my team,” he said.

Mason Mount and Matthew Cunya were both injured against Burnley, but could have urged more reinforcements.

“It was hard to lose Cunha and Mason Mount as Mason Mount played 30 minutes with injuries,” Amorim told Sky Sports.

“I’m worried about that because they’re so important to us. We’ll see.”

“I don’t know (how they are), I don’t know. We’ll check them out,” he added at his press conference.

“We need really bad people to be really competitive.”

After a unique goal from Burnley’s Josh Cullen, Scott Parker’s side fought back in the second half through Lyle Foster.

Burnley fought back, yet another goalkeeping error, partly responsible for the equalizer.

Altay Bayindir couldn’t collect shots neatly from the corner, allowing Jaidon Anthony to go 2-2.

“I was just as frustrated as any other Man UTD fan,” Amorim said of his team’s performance.

“We had the opportunity to score more goals and create more opportunities. Today, football was fair – we were a better team.

“Some moments are really decisive. Sometimes we haven’t played very well, but you can see the efforts of everyone on the pitch that wants to win.”

It was up to Fernandez to delay the penalty and save the day, and he astoned due to his mistake at Fulham by burying it in the house.

“I like to see the image of the fans. What do I have to do? At that moment I thought it was fair to win the game, and I didn’t think Bruno would miss out on it for a second.”

“I thought Bruno couldn’t be missed.”

The late winner scored the first Premier League victory of the season, and did so before an international break.

With a two-week break, Amorim may return with some new faces if he gets a wish in the transfer market.

They will return to the Premier League on September 14th, facing rival Manchester City.

“That’s three points,” Amorim said. “If you’re looking at the game, we need to solve it in the first half and control the game – but we’re fighting to the very end for the complicated stuff.

“Looking through the first half, there are plenty of opportunities to score. I feel like I have control over the game. But one throw, one set piece. I shook my head.

“We have two weeks now with a lot of opportunities. This was a game we had to win, but there’s a lot to do.”
