You’ve heard them in the comment box, but now Ally McCoist and Darren Fletcher have their reputation on the Ally vs Fletch line, the new prediction challenge for TNT Sports.
Our iconic duo will face each other head-on throughout the 2025/26 Premier League season, predicting scores for every game, from Title Dequidar to Burnley’s cold rain on Tuesday nights (sorry, Burnley).
And yes, they both take this very seriously, and are already discussing the appropriately humiliating forfeiture for the loser.
It’s only two weeks deep, but Fletch is already crazy…
“I was thinking I’d like to take a break this week, just like Coisty can keep up a bit. He’s miles behind already!”

GameWeek 3 Prediction
Chelsea v Fulham (TNT Sports)
Ally: “To be honest, I don’t think there’s anything bad between the sides. I was impressed with Fulham during the match against Manchester United. They were a bit unlucky that they couldn’t win that game and I think they’ll take the game to Chelsea.
“But Chelsea’s home form expects them to get stronger at home, so I think they’ll decide how they’ll do this season. I know they played against Crystal Palace on the first day, but I think this will be a tight game.
Prediction: Chelsea 2-1 Flam
Fletch: “I think Chelsea is overall too much for Fulham. I think they’ll create a lot of opportunities this season. The only concern I have about them is the goalkeeper and two centre-backs – they give you the opportunity to score.
Prediction: Chelsea 3-1 Flam
Liverpool v Arsenal
Ally: “It’s going to be a great game. On the first day, Arsenal showed they can defend and defend their clean seats, and against Leeds, it was a much more convincing victory.
“They’re great, they enjoyed two wins in two games. I think they’ll accept the chance. I think Liverpool will score, but you can see Arsenal find the back of the net. So I did the score draw.”
Prediction: Liverpool 1-1 Arsenal
Fletch: “Liverpool is a bit fragile in the back. We’ve seen it in every game they’ve played before. So against a team like Arsenal, they’ll find it difficult to hold a clean sheet.
Prediction: Liverpool 2-2 Arsenal
