Thomas Tuschel revealed that Trent Alexander Arnold was removed from the latest England team because he prefers to have a “tighter team.” The former Liverpool ace was a surprising exclusion from the English team in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia.
Alexander-Arnold was named after Tuchel’s previous team and was not injured in the first weeks of the La Liga season. Anyway, Tuchel chose to go a different path. It raises questions about Alexander Arnold’s hopes for a potential World Cup.
Taschel responded when he quized his decision to leave the Real Madrid man from the team.
“The big guys and big personalities that are always in the mix. I know they’re both desperate, but in this camp we decided on Reese (James) and Livlament, Jack (Greyle), Lassy and Ebbs. The competition is over.”
However, following an impressive start to the 24-year-old season, there was a call to DJED Spence. Explaining his decision to choose him, Tuchel added: “DJed comes to camp with Miles as a left-back and fights for his position there. It’s the first call. It deserves very strong.
“He loves to ride one duel, is the most talented one-on-one duel, the fastest player to play on the right, and is not embarrassed to get off to a very strong start towards the season.
It wasn’t the strongest start to Tuchel’s life as an English boss. On their recent outings, England lost a friendly clash with Senegal, but Touchel is sure his side is taking a step in the right direction.
The former Chelsea boss continued. “The competition continues, and that’s why I like it. I didn’t have any relocations or involvement with agents or club officials. I used the summer to look back at the first two camps.
