Bosnuno Espirito Santo of Nottingham Forest has fought back against “nonsense” that is trying to seal the exit from the club after publicly revealing that his relationship with owner Evangelos Marinakis is “not good.”

Nuno made a surprising claim ahead of his clash with Crystal Palace this weekend, as he said “our relationship has changed,” “our relationship has changed,” and “our relationship has changed.”

He said at a press conference:

“I don’t know exactly, but I’m honest with you. I can’t say it’s not the same, because it’s not the same, I don’t know the reason behind it.

“My concern is the season before us, but our relationship has changed, so I always believe that dialogue and your opinions and your opinions are always valid.”

Now Nuno responds to the suggestion that his explosive claims can be viewed as a way to promote exits.

“That’s nonsense,” he told Sky Sports before the palace clash. It has no meaning.

“We’re focused on the game, and that’s more important. Make sure the players are ready. This game is going to be very tough.”

When asked if he wanted to continue as Forest’s manager, he added: “Of course! Of course. There’s no speculation. All we have to do is communicate and prepare the boys on the last day of the market.”

That comes after reports that Marinakis herself is “confusing” by Nuno’s claims about their relationship, but the club is not intending to dismiss the manager.

The report adds that there has been a “quickly moving debate” behind the scenes of the forest hierarchy about the situation, but it aims to bring unity to the team, recognizing that Marinakis has had the strongest team over the years.

Nuno had previously complained about the poor quality of his playing group and the lack of new arrivals, but then Forest brought in James Mcate and Douglas Lewis from Manchester City on loan from Juventus.

The club also signed Omali Hutchinson, Dan Nudoy, Unlord Karimendo, Igor Jesus and Jae Kuña.
