Arsenal has confirmed the £67.5 million capture of Crystal Palace attacking midfielder Ebeki Eze. England International is writing a first four-year contract, including a one-year extension option.

Eze – Snabbing Tottenham on North London rival to the Gunners – was presented to Arsenal fans at Emirates Stadium on the pitch before the Premier League collided with Leeds on Saturday evening.

The £67.5 million package represents Crystal Palace’s Club Records Sale. He is the Gunners’ seventh summer signature, with the club spending exceeding a record £260 million.
The 27-year-old wears the No. 10 shirt from north London and was previously released by Arsenal as the age of 13.
Sports director Andrea Berta, who played a fundamental role in carrying out the transfer with Tim Lewis, added: “We are pleased to have completed this transaction to bring Ebebeki to Arsenal.
“There was excellent teamwork throughout the club to make this move happen. I’m sure Ebeki will be an important addition to the team as he continues to build for success.”
The Palace issued a statement thanking the club for his service. Chairman Steve Parish said: “For five years now, Ebebeki has been an incredible presence, has had a major impact on the Crystal Palace Football Club and has inspired the people of South London.
“Ebebeki’s journey is truly incredible. From being released by multiple clubs to scoring the final victory goal of the Cup and leading his first major trophy in 164 years, he is a huge inspiration and role model.
“EBS is just as important, and so importantly, he is a great person, always positive, always positive, humble at dealing with everyone, and regularly gives time to club charities and other charities.
“As a club, we always have EBS in our hearts and wish him success in the future. He will always be back at Selhurst Park.”
