Chelsea have five deals to close before Monday’s transfer deadline, including Garnacho | Football | Sports

Chelsea welcomed many faces to Stamford Bridge this summer, offloading players who were not part of Enzo Maresca’s plans. However, the Blues are not yet complete and are rapidly ticking at the transfer deadline on Monday.

It was a summer change in West London, with Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens and Liam Delap reaching the capital. Stars like Nuni Maduke, Joao Felix and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall have been sold to make room for new faces. Maresca may be confident in adjusting the title charge if the Blues can build in a promising pre-season form. Express Sport will also look at five transfer transactions that Chelsea still complete before the deadline.

Bring Alejandro Garnacho

Chelsea have been chasing after Alejandro Garnacho this summer. They are trying to bolster their attacks even more.

The Argentine winger has been pushing for travel from Manchester United and is currently one of the four first team stars who are training away from other teams.

Chelsea offers United plenty of players to cut Garnacho’s £50 million relocation fees. And they might be able to admire the 21-year-old from Old Trafford for cheap as the Red Devils appear to be planning hard without him.

Bring Xavi Simons in

Xavi Simons is another priority to sign Chelsea, with RB Leipzig attackers pursuing a move into the Premier League.

Simons exhibited his incredible talent in the Bundesliga, earning 18 goals and 20 assists in his final two league campaigns on his side.

Although Chelsea reportedly agreed to personal terms with the 22-year-old ahead of the deadline, the transfer fee could be a sticking point as Leipzig is believed to want more than £60 million from the star.

Off-road Nicholas Jackson

Nicholas Jackson was Chelsea’s first choice striker last season. However, he appears to be surplus to the requirements at Stamford Bridge following the arrival of Pedro and Dellup.

Bayern Munich was trapped in the loan movement, and Aston Villa thought he was interested. Bruce is said to be willing to accept temporary departures if they are obligated to buy.

Offroad Christophern Cank

Christopher Nukank barely managed to get a start in the Premier League last season. And his future prospects in West London will be harmed when two new Chelsea strikers go ahead before him as Jackson does.

Aston Villa could have swooped towards Nukank if she didn’t go to Jackson, but France International has also been linked to a return to RB Leipzig. And if he agrees to return to Red Bull Arena, the relocation could prove to be a catalyst for Simons to move in the opposite direction.

Off-road Tyrike George

Chelsea reportedly offered Tyrique George to Manchester United as part of their efforts to sign Garnacho. However, the Red Devils ultimately refused the deal.

Roma is now believed to be the frontrunner to land a 19-year-old who has 38 features in the blues last season. And his departure could ultimately help fund the acquisition of Garnacho and Simons.
