Arsenal is working on a £55 million transfer as a summary of another “hijacking”

Arsenal left Tottenham’s fury after stealing England’s winger Ebe Kieze from under his nose.

Arsenal could pass the £300 million mark over the summer after lining up the moves of Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapee. The Ecuadorian defender – primarily centre half or left back – is available for around £55 million due to the acquisition clause of his contract.

This represents another bold move for gunners who are determined to strengthen their teams across all divisions. Arsenal has certainly shown to cut down team numbers as they offload the defenders to help balance the book and struggle to register everything in the Premier League.

However, Arsenal also says that Hincapy’s dealings do not rely on having to make a sale first, as they are discussing the deal with Leverkusen. The 23-year-old Hincapie is being valued and is considered another player who can provide the competition, backup and depth he claimed to be lacking last season.

They are currently pushing for the versatile defender deal to be completed in the coming days, along with players keen to switch to the Premier League. Tottenham asserts that despite their connections with Hincapy, they are not interested in the players and have not been in touch with Leverkusen.

That’s after Arsenal made Tottenham into Gazam for Ebeki Eze last summer with a £67.5 million move. Hincapy was shed tears after his team lost 2-1 to Hoffenheim over the weekend, sparking suggestions that he could leave.

Speaking about his future earlier this summer, Hincapee said: “I’m completely focused on Bayer. But as a player, it’s always important that other clubs follow you. There are rumours, but my heart is still in Leverkusen.”

The Arsenal look is set to offload defenders at Porto in debate over Jakubu Kiwior’s move. The Polish defender was buried at the end of last season, but is a region that Arsenal wants to bolster, hoping for a first-team opportunity.

Oleksandr Zinchenko knows he can go next week as he only has one year left on the contract and will get a better offer as a free agent next summer, but he also knows he has very limited game time.

Arsenal has already signed a contract with Spanish defender Christian Mosquera, and they are now standing as if they have depth of defence. Arsenal spent a lot of time with Viktor Gyokeres, Eze, Mosquera, Kepa, Christian Norgaard, and Noni Maduke.

Arsenal’s boss Arteta appears to hint that his side has not yet finished completely in the transfer market. After confirming Eze’s arrival, he said: “We all have big smiles on our faces, and we understand that we are doing really well, but the market hasn’t been shut down.
