Jadon Sancho was looking for a new club throughout the summer after being frozen at Manchester United, but was unable to secure an exit and players had little interest in traveling to Roma

According to reports from Italy, Manchester United are being urged to accept the move to Rome as Jadon Sancho “has no other offers at the table.”

Sancho was frozen by manager Reuben Amorim and loaned it out with Chelsea last season, but the move was relatively unsuccessful, with the club paying a £5 million penalty fee to send him back to Old Trafford.

Sancho was part of Amorim’s “bomb squad” of unnecessary players at Old Trafford this summer, sealing off the move to finance Barcelona alongside Antony, Tyrell Malacia and Marcus Rashford.

However, despite collaborative efforts to find a new club, interest from aspects like Borussia Dortmund and Juventus did not come true.

Sancho has been attracting interest from Rome in recent weeks, but discussions have stagnated amid reports that England’s winger has not been interested in switching to the Italian capital.

However, Italian outlet Corriere Dello Sport claims that Sancho has not been officially turned down, but players add that they “hesitate” to the move.

United Chief Jason Wilcox has been “hopefully” to clean up Sancho from the wage bill, considering he’s earned around £250,000 at Old Trafford, adding that the club agreed to a £15 million transfer a month ago.

Sancho reportedly was asked to give his heart a go to Rome’s move by Wednesday before the club moved to other targets. Currently, no other club is considering bidding to sign the former Borussia Dortmund star.

Roman boss Jean Piero Gaspelini wanted to sign Sancho and claimed that the player had not rejected the club

Roman boss Jean Piero Gaspelini claimed that Sancho did not reject them after his victory over Bologna this weekend.

“Sancho never said no to Rome,” he said. There are 8 days left. This is a good team. As I said before, there is no worst and no great end. ”

However, the club’s soccer director has expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of progress in the speech, and has denounced Sancho’s lack of “motivation” to join the club.

He told SportMediaSet:

“At this point, it doesn’t seem like there’s the right conditions and most of all the motivation to continue these negotiations, so that’s just a proposal.”
