Newcastle 2-3 Liverpool: 16-year-old Rionugmoha scores as Arne Slot’s side gets on the bench in 10 minutes of extra time as he gets lucky and beats 10 magpies

Rionugumoha came out of the bench in the 100th minute as Liverpool somehow defeated 10 Newcastle in a drama-packed match at St. James Park.

The Alexander Isaac Transfer Saga added strength to his encounter at St James Park, but it certainly didn’t disappoint in terms of talent before Nugumoha beat Will Osla as a super sub.

Newcastle dominated the opening 30 minutes, but it couldn’t be counted as Gordon spurred three opportunities. Out of nowhere they found themselves behind. Ryan Greignvelch had put life from the edge of the box via Fabian Shah’s deflection.

Gordon then flew to try to charge Virgil van Dyke and made his mistake worse. After the VAR review, referee Simon Hooper upgraded his yellow card to red and left Newcastle in a difficult battle.

That got tough when Hugo Ekitike found the bottom corner right after a break and made it 2-0. Bruno Guimarès took advantage of Milos Cerquez’s weak defense to head towards half of the deficit.

That goal didn’t seem to be enough, but Osla defeated Allison on a near post at the end of Dan Byrne’s flick-on. Liverpool then again went out of nowhere, climbed the other end, and Nugmoha thrusts into a low cross from Mohamed Sarah to score Liverpool three points.

ISAK Message

He wasn’t playing. He wasn’t even on the Newcastle team. Still, he still ruled the stories around this game. Alexander Isaac has spent the past month trying to leave the magpie for his opponent. So far, he had failed, but the timing of his game provided an interesting story and was most certainly added to the atmosphere and strength of the pitch.

After accusing him of breaking his promise to his employer, the banner on the stand said, “Nothing is achieved on its own. We are the city. The whole population. We are Newcastle United.” The message from the supporters was clear, and ultimately Osra summed up the spirit.

Gordon’s Nightmare Night

Gordon was selected for praise by Howe before kickoff, filling out at the opening game of the season with a centre forward. However, he endured a totally miserable time against Liverpool, and his adrenaline was touched by how neutralising everything else.

He went over the Harvey Burns cross before the decision to red card, and reached the end of Anthony Elanga’s cross, ruining the third opening and missing three decent chances.

Gordon was probably caught up in this opportunity. He seemed desperate to please his supporters and was accused after Van Dick, who raised the pitch to clear the ball and caught the Dutch calf with the studs. “He gets hooked on what’s going on,” said Thierry Henry on Sky Sports. He was fortunate that his teammates bailed him out.

Ekitike rubs salt on wounds

Question: Do Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Benjamin Sesko and Ekitike all have something in common? Answer: They all snub Newcastle and joined the rival Premier League side this summer. Newcastle struggled at the transfer window without the CEO’s sports director, and Ekitique rubbed her nose at St. James Park.

Just 20 seconds passed in the second half as the French striker lay 2-0 from the edge of the box at the base of the post. Arne Slot hadn’t happened to be out of the tunnel yet. He now scored in each of Liverpool’s first three starts, beating 4-2 Community Shield and Bournemouth on the first day of the season.

Ekitique is very well commenced for Liverpool, who sold Darwin Nunes and Luis Diaz and sold the tragically lost Diogo Jota. They still want to sign another striker before the windows close, but if they can’t get Isaac, the former truck Frankfurt striker will soften the blow.

Two fullback stories

When the team sheet was released, there was one obvious question. Who will play right back for Liverpool? Jeremie Frimpong was injured, Conor Bradley was on the bench, and Arne Slot chose to place Dominik Szoboszlai in that position.

Szoboszlai made some important interventions in the first half, reaching the ball before Gordon as the ball flashed into the six-yard box and his efforts and effort stood out for the Reds. Meanwhile, Kerkez, the specialist left-back who signed from Bournemouth for £40 million this summer, struggled and was blamed on Guimares’ headers.

Hungarian International did not descend from the ground, but turned away and allowed the Newcastle captain to free jumps to the back post with a Tino Libramento float cross. He’s seen him out of his depth in Liverpool’s early games this season, and slots may try to start Andy Robertson in the coming weeks.

Ngumoha rescues Liverpool

Salah was anonymous in Liverpool. They barely went to Nick Pope’s goal after an Ekitique strike in the 46th minute. Their club record said signing Florian Wiltz had no impact on the match. Still, they scored three times away from home in a still difficult stadium.

The side of the slot once again looked vulnerable in the back – and eventually pressure was transmitted. As fans screamed at them, Newcastle didn’t appear to be playing with the ten men. They pinned Liverpool, fired boxes, and the long throws of libraments created a feeling of siege.

Ultimately, it was a simple long free kick from the Pope flicked at the Burn that caused the damage. Osula gambles and gets there in front of Gravenberch and thrusts Alisson in. And yet, somehow, they did it. Ngumoha kept his cool to shove into the corner after the Szoboszlai dummy.
