England Under 21 duo James McAtee and O’Mari Hutchinson both signed the Big Money Deal at City Grounds over the weekend, with now Rennes hitman Arnaud Karim End joining the East Midlands
Nottingham Forest followed O’Mari Hutchinson and James McCate with striker Arnaud Karim End spending nearly £100 million in three-day space on the ground in the city. Kalimuendo signed a five-year deal after Forest signed a deal with Rennes to sign the 23-year-old striker.
Kalimuendo scored 18 goals on the Ligue 1 side last season, taking part in a deal worth £25 million. It comes after the weekend when Forest spent his club record on £37.5 million to sign Ipswich’s Hutchinson and spent £37.5 million to acquire midfielder McKaty from Manchester City. Kalimuendo is primarily a central striker, but can play in a wide position, with the £100 million triple deal coming after Nuno Espirito Santo acknowledged “concerns” over the club’s transfer business.
“When I heard about the interest from the forest, I was honored,” Karim End said. “This is a proud moment for me. It’s a club with a great history, joining a team that had a strong season last year, last year, and I’m ready to take on a challenge. I’ll arrive here with a good experience. I had a good season with goals and assists last year, but I want to reach more levels.

“I can’t wait to play in the Premier League and play on the City Ground. I saw the game last season and it’s clear that the fans are creating a beautiful atmosphere.
Hutchinson and McAtee were paraded to the ground in the city before the forest opened the Premier League season by beating Brentford 3-1 on Sunday. Fellow new signature Dan Ndoye was on the scoresheet in the first half of ramp outs, where Forest scored all the goals.
Ndoye said: “It was a really great experience to score the first game of the season, the first win, the club’s first goal. We had a really great team. Every game you play with your teammates makes every game feel good.
“I’m already feeling better than last week. I’m lucky to help my teammates win the game. I’m really happy.”
