Alexander Isaac’s proposed move to Liverpool cannot be taken off the ground, and the Swedes are in a transfer standoff with current club Newcastle United as the windows approach the end
Swedish boss John Dahl Thomason warned those who wouldn’t make Alexander Isaac a judge too soon, labeling the forward as “very professional.” The Newcastle star missed the opening match of the season with Aston Villa and called for a move to Liverpool.
Isak has been trained from Newcastle’s first team after missing out on the Asian preseason tour, and appears to have shown that he will not be featured in the club again. Eddie Howe kept the door open to the possibility despite his accusation stance.
Liverpool immediately rejected a £110 million bid early in the summer and is ready to return to players if they offer encouragement from their Premier League rivals. Newcastle previously declared that ISAK was not for sale and reports say they want to arrive before the two strikers arrive.
Isak came in for criticism of his approach to enforce the move, and now his international manager, Tomasson, spoke in defense of his accusations. The Swedish boss has already seen Viktor Gyoker strike to promote his transfer this summer and now giving support to Isak, who could be fined.
Thomason believes critics should not speak up before they know the perfect circumstances surrounding Isaac’s decision.

He told Fotbollskanalen:
“These situations are very complicated. These are very complex environments. They are players’ control environments. I’m sure they’ll work in the end, but you need to know the big picture before you reach a conclusion. That’s always a good hint.
“I don’t think we know that (big picture). I don’t know the big picture either. It’s very normal because there’s a lot of politics in football clubs. But one thing is for sure. Alex is a great guy and very professional.
Tomasson hopes to make ISAK available for Sweden’s next World Cup qualifying match against Slovnia and Kosovo as they try to try a tournament in the US. Previous preparations for ISAK have not been ideal.
“I have time. He’s an expert and I know he’s trained. Of course, he’s not training on a team, he’s not playing games. Wait and see. We’ll talk good, Alex and me, and he’ll be back in team training soon.
“I want to make use of my best players and he’s a great player. But I can’t see the future. That’s impossible.”
