Eze’s arrival worries me a few weeks after Arsenal’s deal – “I might have to go” | Football | Sports

Troy Dinney warned that despite recently putting pens on paper in fresh conditions at Emirates Stadium, Arsenal youngster Ethan Nuwaneri could still be forced to seek opportunities elsewhere. The former Premier League striker’s proposal comes weeks after the talented prospects violated his future in a North London outfit in the New Deal.

Arsenal endured a busy summer transfer window with numerous departures and arrivals, but secured several current team members in extended contracts, including highly rated attacker Nuwaneri. The teenager etched his name into a history book in 2022, when he became the Gunners’ youngest first-team debutant in 181 days at just 15 years old.

The club confirmed earlier this month that the current 18-year-old, who joined the academy, has committed to a fresh “long-term contract.” Miller is understood to have sought guarantees regarding playtime before Nuwaneri agreed to extend his stay with the club, and reported that he would naturally have expected an increase in the involvement of the first team in the campaign.

However, Nwaneri, who featured in 37 matches in all competitions during the previous semester, did not appear in Manchester United’s first day 1-0 victory. As Arsenal pursues Premier League glory and additional silverware, he now stands in the race to start appearances from both the veteran experts and the summer acquisition.

Eberechi Eze’s recent signature sees him join striker Viktor Gyoker, Defender Cristhian Mosquera, Midfielder Martin Zubimendi, goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, midfielder Christian Norgaard and goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to complete his move to this year’s Emirates.

Former Watford and Birmingham City striker Deanie suggests that Nuwaneri may need to look for a new club to continue development. Speaking about Talksport, Deeney said:

“But at 17 (you think), “You said I was playing, I’m not playing now. You brought in an additional winger. LeandroTrossard signed a new deal, and now you’re bringing Eze, playing for me, I’m going to have to leave.”

“They’re the kind of conflict that comes out. He’s only 17 years old, but he wants to play.”

Furthermore, Deeney questioned Arsenal’s decision to pursue Eze. Eze was close to signing with Tottenham before the Gunners agreed to a £67.5 million deal for Crystal Palace attackers. Deeney commented: “I like the movements of players (but) I personally don’t know.

“When he enters the Spurs he can come in as number 10. If he still wants to put him on the left, he is still the best left winger they’ve had there.

But Eze’s imminent arrival is a clear signal of Arsenal’s ambition, which is striving to win the Premier League title for the first time in 22 years. Mikel Arteta is also keen to finish a trophyless run that dates back to the 2020 FA Cup.

“We show our ambition to be here to win major trophies and continue to evolve and improve each year. “We are not only to chase, respond, be in the back, but to be in front of every decision we have made in every area of the club, but to achieve that.”

Given the injuries to both Martin Odegard (shoulder) and Bukayosaka (hamstring) in Saturday’s 5-0 victory over Leeds, Nuwaneri in the first half could replace the skipper, ultimately leading to a bigger opportunity for teenagers in the coming weeks. Even 15-year-old Max Dowman got from the bench 30 minutes away in a comfortable victory.
