Real Madrid’s boss Zabi Alonso spoke about Rodrigo’s position in the Spanish capital after a summer summer against positive and uncertain Brazilians in role this season
Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso is pleased with Rodrigo’s progress in preparation for his first La Liga match in which Rodrigo will take on the Los Blancos. The Brazilian winger remains in the Spanish capital after speculation over the first movement since Alonso’s arrival.
Earlier this month, Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal were all linked to forward signatures. Real Madrid is said to have been open to the exit of Rodrigo, not being aggressively aggressive in searching for new clubs for the two-time Champions League winner.
The 24-year-old didn’t appear at the forefront of Alonso’s plans after only featured once in the team’s Club World Cup campaign. Spaniards have a wide selection of options, including Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr, and Jude Bellingham.
The Ross Blancos have appeared with content to keep Rodrigo, but their interest in William Saliba has allegedly seen them offer for sensational swap deals. The gunners are eager to add wingers, and Marca claims that Rial tried to seduce the move he signed Saliba next summer or signed for free in 2027.
At this point, Rodrigo is at his disposal as Alonso is on his way to playing Osasuna on Tuesday evening, along with the club’s season. The former Bayern Munich and Liverpool midfielder thinks his accusation is on good Nick despite the uncertainty this summer.

“There are a lot of rumors this summer,” Alonso said he previewed his team’s first game of the season. “He seems good for me.
“I rely on everyone. I want to commit to them and be 100%. That’s what worries me and occupy me now.”
Real Madrid head coaches don’t have a shortage of options, and the new signature signed to 18-year-old Franco Mustantouno could be among those that guarantee that Rodrigo will find it difficult to get the minutes. Alonso was very impressed after the youngster arrived.
“When I first told him, I was very surprised by his personality,” the Spaniard said. “He was only 17 years old and was a very confident man.
“He wasn’t afraid to take a step towards coming to Real Madrid. You can see his maturity, his desires, his quality. He is going to integrate into his team very quickly.
“He can get a few minutes tomorrow. He brings quality, energy, defensively commits, he has good momentum. I saw that he has that drive and that Argentine competitive spirit. He’s good at the final pass. He’s on a very good level.”
