Crystal Palace is also aware that Mark Guech’s future is open, so after agreeing to sell Ebevech Eze to Arsenal, it is about to recruit new defenders and forwards.
Crystal Palace has added Club Bruges Central Defender Joel Ordnes to its list. The Eagles have now agreed to sell attacker Ebebeki Eze to Arsenal in a deal of up to £67.5 million, including add-ons.
Gunners will pay the first £60 million plus a bonus of about £7.5 million, which is the same value as Eze’s expired release clause. However, Steve Parish is also ready to hear the offer from centre-back Mark Guech, as he is reluctant to lose England International on his free transfer in 2026.
Importantly, the palace must source Guehi’s replacement – they are also working hard to attack the deal of Eze’s successors – before they agree to any deal.
Liverpool has already been in discussion for the 25-year-old, and Guehi is keen to switch to Anfield, but he remains relaxed about the situation and is still open to seeing the final year of his contract as he is in the season.

The Palace previously had a strong interest in the sport of CP Ousmane Diomande, but there was a major gap in its reputation following discussion with the Portuguese champion. It is still unknown whether they will rekindle those talks, but another name on their radar is Ecuador International Ordones.
The 21-year-old is a right-footed middle defender and plays comfortably on the left side of the backline of three or four. It appeals to the Eagles, who are understood to have enquired during a club-to-club talk with Forward Christos Zalis’s Bruges.
The Palace is understood to be worth up to £27.7 million (€32 million) rejected last week for a former Norwich City Winger, and the Belgian club continues to insist that Tzolis is not on sale. Leicester’s Bilal El Cannas and Southampton’s Tyler Diling remain live options, but Everton and the Spurs are also at the 19-year-old table.
Bruge has already made many well-known sales this summer, whipping midfielder Ardon Jashari from AC Milan, Maxim de Cuiper to Brighton and Seamsdine Talbi to Sunderland. But their stance is that every player has a price and they expect to lose Ordonez all summer.
PSG was interested, but instead signed Illia Zabarnyi, Bournemouth and Roma, with Marseille approaching, but discussions with the French club are stagnating. Ordonez is seeking participation in Marseille and has already agreed verbally in personal terms, but so far they have failed to shake hands with Bruges.
The Eagles also like Burnley’s Maxim Esteve, but the Frenchman recently wrote a new five-year deal with Claret. Also provided by Juventus Lloyd Kelly and Tiagojaro (previous window loan target) via intermediaries.
The Palace is bolstering Oliver Glasner’s team, with at least two new additions (defender and forward) preparing to say emotional farewell to Eze.
He is scheduled to play in the Conference League playoffs against Fredrikstad on Thursday before receiving Arsenal medical care on Friday. If everything goes well, he will be featured on the Emirates on Saturday before his match against Leeds and embark on a week-long training with Gunner before visiting Anfield the following weekend.
