Alexander Isaac was the target of an angry chant from Newcastle fans full time at Aston Villa, but Eddie Howe says he can still return to the rounds
Eddie Howe says the door is “well, really open” for Alexander Isaac to return to the Newcastle Fold, despite club fans making clear feelings about the hopeful striker at the end of the scoreless draw to Aston Villa.
Swedish striker Isaac continues to leave his first team as he tries to force a move from St. James’ Park and an angry Toon supporter attempts to chant “Only one greedy****” full-time.
Liverpool has rejected ISAK’s bid once, and it remains unclear whether they will return with an improved offer before the deadline of 7pm on September 1st.
He has three years left on the contract and continues to receive a salary of £140,000 a week despite not even training with his teammates in the last few weeks. Isaac continues to work alone at the club’s training grounds and even leaves his residence in Tyneside.

But after a game where he welcomed players available for performances, Howe spoke about the biggest saga of the summer.
“I want a solution. Ownership, all the players we have want that clarity. You don’t need to be distracted. I don’t control it. There’s only one person in control of it.”
Asked if he means Isaac, Hau added: “Alex is in control of what he is doing. I have no control over him.” And in that Isak was fined for not being part of the matchday team, Howe couldn’t be made clear when adding, “Other people are dealing with that issue. I’m focused on the team.”
Regardless of Isaac’s future, Newcastle is hoping to add to the team by the September 1 deadline, with Jacob Ramsey set to be announced as £40 million from his opponent on Saturday.
Hau continued: “We are actively looking for the market. We work hard to bring players out of hope rather than expectations.”
