England’s international playmaker Eberechi Eze continues to link to summer moves from Crystal Palace, with Eagles managers publishing an update
Crystal Palace manager Oliver Grasner expects he can call Ebebekieze on Thursday for a clash with Fredrikstad of the Eagles conference league. England International is in high demand this summer, with Arsenal and Tottenham both linked, but Glasner continues to give them a few minutes as usual.
Eze won the best part of Sunday’s 85 minutes. Palace held Chelsea into a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge. He warmly praised the pitch and urged him to speculate whether it was his final appearance in the colours of the palace, so he turned to support his visit.
However, Glasner showed no signs that he was ready to say goodbye. Eze and teammate Marc Guehi are still able to leave, but the boss doesn’t see things like that.
“The 15 16 players who spent the most time last year are still here,” he told Sky Sports. “There are many rumors about Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi, and it was 100% in this group at Crystal Palace, and it proved that very well.
“EB was supposed to score a goal today, he had it and it wasn’t allowed. He’ll come to Crystal Palace training ground tomorrow, Tuesday, we’ll take him to Wednesday and I hope he’ll play for Fredrikstad and us for us.”

The goal Glasner wasn’t allowed to mention was early in the game. Eze thought he fired the palace in front of him with a free kick, but Guech just got too close to the Chelsea wall.
“After review, when the shot is taken, away number 6 is less than a metre from the wall,” the Premier League Match Center account has been posted on social media. “So it’s an indirect free kick and an unauthorized goal.”
Chelsea keeper Robert Sanchez felt the decision to ban the target was correct. “Moises (Caicedo) gets pushed into the gap, so I can’t see at all and the ball has crossed my head, so it has to be a 100% foul,” he said.
Sanchez also made credit to the palace midfield by keeping Club World Cup winners at bay. “We spent two weeks ago and were injured, but the boys showed up and held a clean sheet,” Spanish international International International said. “We have quality in the ball. It was difficult to find Moises and Enzo (Fernandez) on the ball, as Crystal Palace was held a lot in the midfield and dry pitch.”
