Manchester United believes that personal terms with Carlos Valleva are not a matter of enthusiastic players on the move, but it remains to be seen whether Brighton is open for sales.
Last week, the people at Old Trafford reached out via intermediaries to measure whether they could sign a contract with the Cameroonian midfielder.
Baleba is likely to cost around £100 million. This is shy at the sight that Brighton was requested before agreeing to sell Moises Caiceco to Chelsea in the summer of the two.
United currently does not have such kind of amounts. From the moment they expressed their interest there was an acceptance that securing a deal would be a major challenge. They spent more than £200 million to sign others Benjamin Sesco and Brian Mbemo.

Brighton has already sold Joan Pedro to Chelsea, depositing up to £60 million in the bank and hates losing another of their key players, but their CEO Paul Barber has lowered speculation that the Red Devils are in contact with, highlighting the fact that the Seagulls are not interested in selling top players.
He states: “We have great talent. We’re always interested in players. Manchester United hasn’t been in touch with me. From that perspective, speculation is speculation.
“We’re always going to end up doing that with players, not just players. If we leave Fabian on a competitive team, we don’t want to sell the best players.
“Carlos is an incredible talent that is years ahead of him. I hope he will be here for years to come. But as always, he is subjective to the dynamics of the world of football that is not always predictable.
