Tottenham won the newly declared Burnley unilaterally to win the Premier League campaign. The people of North London had Richarrison to thank the Brazilians for getting two great goals and getting them to work. Brennan Johnson added a third in the second half to confirm the points and rounded out his everyday victory.

It didn’t take long for Tottenham to open the scoring with the ball at home after a great job from Mohammed Kudus. Burnley responded well, grew into the match and found some joy along the way on the pitch. They were reverted back to the second half as Richarrison pulled away the acrobatic volley before Johnson’s routine finish ended the game as a contest.

After the victory, the sports rating and Slate Tottenham players will be announced…

Tottenham Player Rating vs Burnley

Guglielmo Vicario -7

It was on par with everything thrown into him by Burnley’s forward. A few fine passes helped me launch the attack from my back. A sturdy display between the sticks.

Pedro Polo-6

He was seen several times after bombing the right side. He got better with the ball and started moving forward using his range of passes. Fortunately, he refused to accept a penalty for an unnecessary push on Jadon Anthony.

Christian Romero-6

It took me a while to settle for the game and gave the ball with a slightly sloppy pass. He admitted some stupid fouls in the dangerous area, but escaped without a reservation. It’s not bad, but there’s certainly room for improvement.

Mickey Van de Ben-7

His defensive duties were adequate and almost seemed comfortable. He used his electric pace to erase the counter attack movement. It was right.

DJed Spence -6

Running on the left flank was involved in overlapping attack movements. I tried so hard to get things to happen at intersections from a large area. Not bad.

Archie Gray-5

The first half didn’t look comfortable as Burnley found joy in the middle. When the Spurs were trying to build from behind, they reluctantly made available to them. Not his best performance.

Pape Matar Sarr -6

Tottenham’s mid-range opened in the first 45 minutes, so it started slowly. It grew into the game and provided some stability as the game progressed. He supported Johnson’s goals.

Lucas Bergval-7

Running directly in the middle made things happen. He always wanted the ball and looked lively in the transition. He still remains alive, but it appears he will develop into a top player.

Mohamed Kudus-8

I worked out big to create the opportunity that led to Richarion’s opener before setting him up again in the second half. Whenever he was on the ball he looked threatening and was rewarded with two assists. Something good.

Brennan Johnson-6

It was relatively quiet until he scored Tottenham’s third goal in the afternoon. He got his finish well, but he couldn’t influence the game as much as he wanted.

Richarrison-8

A great first-time effort from the center of the box opened up a score. He doubled his tally with an acrobatic style and slammed a bike kick into the net. A great effort.

Alternatives

Dominique Solanke-6

I came for the last 20 minutes and was fine without getting off the world.

Rodrigo Bentancourt-6

The basics worked well enough to help Tottenham keep things firmly in the closure stage.

Wilson O’Dobert-n/a

A late addition.

MATHYS TEL -N/A

A late addition.

Joao Palhinha -n/a

A late addition.
