Alejandro Garnacho faces a small future outlook at Manchester United after losing his favor under Reuben Amorim, and since then he has provided clues about his future

Manchester United’s Misfit Alejandro Garnacho hints that his Old Trafford Nightmare could soon be over. The Argentine forward has no future next for the Red Devils, who were told to find a new club for Reuben Amorim at the end of last season.

Many clubs have already linked with Garnacho ahead of their transfer deadline next month. Italian giant Napoli appeared as a potential suitor earlier this summer, but their interest appears to have cooled down.

United’s Premier League rival Chelsea have made the move, agreeing to personal terms with the younger forwards, despite having to reach an agreement with the Red Devils. And Garnacho himself is now teasing that the breakthrough may not be that far away.

The 21-year-old shared a photo of himself sitting in the gym with his head in hand. And the sand timers and oval emojis were particularly spoken.

United is expected to demand around £40 million for Garnacho’s services, with less than three years remaining on their contract at Old Trafford. Earlier this summer, boss Amorim revealed that Garnacho is likely to move on.

“Along with Garnacho, I think you can understand and you can see that he is talented, he is a truly talented boy,” Amorim said. “But sometimes things don’t work and you can’t explain exactly what it is.

“But I think it’s clear – Garnacho wants something different with different leadership and I can understand that.

“So I don’t think that’s the problem. Sometimes you adapt to one guy and you have a connection. Others want you to have a new challenge, so we try to make everything okay for every party. For clubs, coaches, players. That’s the natural thing about football.”

Garnacho will not be the only departure from Old Trafford before the end of the window. Tyrell Malacia, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Rasmus Hojlund are all expected to leave.

AC Milan has launched consultations with United on the Danish striker’s service following the signature of Benjamin Sesco. Real Betis was also keen to re-sign Antony following last season’s loan spell, but has struggled to get a deal so far.

Elsewhere, several promising young people have been able to go on loan over the coming weeks. Harry Amas and Toby Korea are both targeted by Sheffield at the Championship Crisis Club on Wednesday.
