You’ve heard them in the comment box, but now Ally McCoist and Darren Fletcher have their reputation on the Ally vs Fletch line, the brand new prediction challenge for TNT Sports.

Our iconic duo will face off head-on throughout the 2025/26 Premier League season and predict the scores for every game, from title decisions to Burnley (sorry, Burnley) on a cold Tuesday night.

And yes, they both take this very seriously, and are already discussing the appropriately humiliating forfeiture for the loser.

Allies vs Fletch Scoring – and how you play together

Each GameWeek, Ally and Fletch will predict their scores and provide a fiery take on the biggest weekend matches. Their Point System:

One point to get the right result (win, draw, or loss)

We track weekly performances on the rolling leaderboard so you know who’s ahead and who’s talking nonsense.

Would you like to participate? You can vote by winning, losing or drawing on all game results (at the bottom of each article).

Is everything clear? Let’s take part in the show…

Selected Match

Aston Villa v Newcastle (TNT)

Ally: “All anxiety must have a serious impact on Newcastle in the (Alexander) Isaac situation. Anthony Gordon is also injured. I think the villa is too strong for them at home.

Fletch: “I’m a bit surprised that Aston Villa couldn’t have been more creative in the transfer market, but I think it’s too strong for Newcastle. Big question for Newcastle: Where does the goal come from, Isaac is hard to play, and Villa Park is a difficult place to go.

Man Utd V Arsenal

Ally: “I definitely look forward to improvements from United this season, especially in the forward areas. I think they’ve made some great signings. Brian Mbuemo and Masteus Cunya in particular bring a lot to them. But I’m still worried about the lack of pace in the middle of the park. I think they’ll win the game 3-1.”

Fletch: “I don’t think United will be climbing the Premier League as they need if they signed on Benjamin Sesco, Mbuemo and Kunha to Genluigi Donnaruma and Carlos Baleva.

Premier League Table Prediction

To explain them, we also asked Ally and Fletch to predict the Premier League table before the season began…
