Liverpool will need to make four more signatures after Crystal Palace upset | Football | Sports

Liverpool is still pursuing Newcastle striker Alexander Isaac after being defeated by a penalty to Community Shield Crystal Palace, but even if he wins him, the Premier League champion has more recruits to do before the busy summer transfer window closes.

But while Liverpool is a favorite of many people to win the league again, Express Sports has seen some of the signatures needed to defend the crown this season and go to the Champions League as well…

Alexander Isaac

Liverpool, who sold Darwin Nunes and Luis Diaz and also sold the tragic death of Diogo Jota, has no choice from the middle. Hugo Ekichike is currently the main option given that Cody Gakupo is considered the winger on the left.

Federico Chiesa is currently the second choice, but this month the Italians were still able to return to Italy. So it’s no wonder Liverpool is keen on Isaac, who scored 44 goals in the last two Premier League seasons. The transaction could cost around £150 million packages, including add-ons.

Although he still doesn’t see what his arrival means for Ekitike, the Frenchman can play as a left winger, or even two strikers can play with Omar Marmash (now paired with Omar Marmash in Manchester City) for Eintrack Frankfurt. Regardless of the knock-on effect, Isak is a world-class striker and if the deal is feasible, the Reds need to get it done.

Another winger

Assuming Chiesa, Harvey Elliott and Ben Doak all leave, Liverpool’s starting wingers will be Gakpo or Ekitike and Mohamed Salah. The backup after these three are natural fits like teenage Lionugmoha, Jeremy Fripon, or Suzobo Schlei, Whartz and Curtis Jones.

What’s clear is that Liverpool needs another experienced winger to avoid thin stretching due to injuries. Another broad advance will help them not to overly rely on Ngumoha at any point. For all of the promises of the 16-year-old, the Reds don’t want to get injured one or two away from him starting an important must-see Premier League or Champions League match.

Lyon’s Marik Foffana is an interesting choice for the 20-year-old, with a Liverpool-like attribute. However, he will cost him more than £40 million. Bradley Barcola, named Paris Saint-Germain, floats, but he only arrived if he had made it certainty. However, players like Barcola in their early 20s dream of being able to play multiple roles in the front three.

Mark Guech

Crystal Palace co-owner and chairman Steve Parish confirmed that he will be forced to sell Mark Guech after the Palace defeated the Reds at Wembley. Liverpool must be above that given the need for homemade talent.

Guehi is the ideal age, just 25 years old, boasts plenty of Premier League experience, earning 23 England caps. With reduced prices, he will have to trade for under £40 million, given that his contract expires at Selhurst Park next summer, which makes no sense. It’s very similar to Milos Kerquez’s journey from Bournemouth to Anfield.

Guehi will be an excellent third choice centre back. The British allow Arneslot to ease the demand for Virgil Vandicki, given that they can play on the left and alongside the Dutch in the Konate location of Ibrahima on the right.

Another defender

But both Van Dijk 34 Now, Konate and Gomez have consistently succumbed to injuries in recent seasons, so does Liverpool need another centre-half option as well? Slot says Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch can play there, but it should be “broken glass in case of emergency.”

Endo is on the short side for the central back, but he would be a great option in the domestic cup game. And Gravenberch’s absence from midfield is exploited by the top team. Ideally, Liverpool wants another younger option, and perhaps an option that can be played in fullback if necessary.

Perhaps Liverpool will only sign Guehi and promote the highly rated Wellity Lucky 19 as a depth option alongside 18-year-old Amara Nallo. But as the champions want to go deeper into every competition, the slot could possibly plummet due to Parma’s Giovanni Leoni and similar young talent and Gaehi.
