Five Serie A clubs have made inquiries with representatives of Manchester United striker Rasmus Hoilund, I Paper reports.

The former Atalanta striker is due to return to Italy this summer, with United signing Benjamin Sesco last week. AC Milan is considered a front runner, and is currently said to be interested in Inter Milan, Rome, Juventus and Naples.

I’s paper adds:

“But United are eager to do more business in the transfer market before the windows close at the end of this month and need to free up the funds.

“The £340 million offer is enough to convince the club to cut the losses of strikers who couldn’t stand £72 million price tag United, which paid Dane at Atalanta two years ago.”

Spurs to Savinho?

Manchester City has opened a conversation with Tottenham about the potential sale of Winger Savigno, the Telegraph reports. The city is said to be reluctant to lose players, but it recognizes the need to reduce the size of the team before the transfer window closes.

The city is expected to demand £50 million a year after signing him for £35 million, but Savigno is said to be worried about the game time after Rayan Cerki joins from Lyon.

The Telegraph adds: “The North London Club will need to attack the reinforcements after their son Hyun Min sets off for Los Angeles FC. James Madison has lasted a recent serious knee injury.

“The pursuit of Nottingham Forest Captain Morgan Gibbs White failed last month, and Tottenham now has switched attention to versatile attacker Savinho, but the discussion with City is in its early stages.

“Savinho played 48 times in his debut campaign under Guardiola, mainly on the right, scoring three times and earning 13 assists. If a deal can be reached between the two clubs, Savinho could be a natural replacement for the son of Tottenham’s former captain.”

Grelish prices next summer

After Everton agrees to a deal to lend to the Manchester City winger, Jack Grelish will be available for £50 million next summer, Telegraph reports.

Everton agreed to terms with City over the weekend, and the move will need to be confirmed immediately as it targets England’s return to plans ahead of the World Cup.

Telegraph adds: “Everton has begun consultations with the city over possible contracts to sign the 29-year-old, and the wage structure has been resolved between the two clubs.

“It will end an era of frustration, at least temporarily, due to the gloves being frozen by mayor Pep Guardiola.”

Newcastle i el cannas

Newcastle United could trigger a release clause for Leicester City midfielder Bilal El Cannas this week, the Telegraph reports.

Moroccan International was able to return to the Premier League this summer as Eddiehau appears to strengthen his team before the season begins.

Telegraph adds: “The El Khannouss, signed last August by Belgian club Genk for a fee of around £19.5 million, has clauses that can be revitalized after Leicester’s relegation to the championship.

“Newcastle is now accelerating their interest as prices are above £30 million and are understood to expire later this week.

“Leeds United also expressed interest in the offensive midfielder who won the 90-minute Leicester victory at Sheffield on Wednesday. He also provided assists in both the goals scored by Jannik Vestergaard and Wout Faes.”
