The Scottish midfielder has been nominated for the top 30 European players after leading Napoli to the Serie A title as his former club finished 15th in the Premier League
Scott McTominay is the candidate to win the Men’s Baron D’ or lower in less than a year since Manchester United dropped off for just £25 million. Five Lionesses have also been nominated for Women’s Awards.
The Scottish midfielder is one of the 30 stars on the list after leading Napoli to the title and winning the Serie Ayer of the Year. Ousmane Dembele is a favorite that won the award on September 22nd.

United Academy alum McTominay, 28, is the first Scott to be finalist since Ally McCoist in 1987 after scoring 12 midfielder in his first season in Italy. His former club United scored 44 goals in 38 Premier League matches, finishing 15th under Reuben Amorin. The Portuguese coach was appointed in November after the sale of McTominay under the Erik Ten Hag regime.
