Benjamin Sesco arrived at Manchester United for medical care on Friday. Reuben Amorim is trying to secure the number 9 he’s looking for all summer, so he’s questioning the future of Rasmus Hozilund
Dimiter Berbatov believes that Benjamin Sesco’s arrival at Manchester United will provide Reuben Amorim with the desired competition with Rasmus Hozilund. The Danish striker endured last year’s illustrious season with the Red Devils, scoring only four Premier League goals.
As a result, Reuben Amorim wasted most of his time this summer, securing the service of wolf Mash Kuña with a £62.5 million move, and Brian Mbeumo from Brentford in a package worth up to £710 million. But now it appears that United will also see RB Leipzig’s Sensor Sesco joining the ranks of Old Trafford.
The 22-year-old was a very popular outlook this summer, as a result of his impressing Bundesliga. The Red Devils and Newcastle United were caught up in a tug of war for his signature. And now it appears United have won in the pursuit. Sesco made landfall in the UK on Friday after a total of £73.7 million was agreed.

And as a result, Hozilund will compete in a tough competition for his place. Berbatov, who scored 56 goals under Ir Alex Ferguson between 2008 and 2012 and provided 27 assists, believes that if he adopts the right mindset it could allow young people to thrive.
Speaking only to mirror football about what Sesko’s arrival means, Livescore and Livescore state that the European brand ambassador:
“I saw how they moved, how they bullied the defenders, how they scored goals, but going to the Premier League felt it was difficult to adjust. And do statistics speak for yourself?
“So it’s not easy, is it speed? Is it a new team? Is it a new environment? Mostly when you’re United’s No. 9, you need to achieve your goals, you’re your job, and this is your job description.
“Of course, there’s a lot more to get to ninth place. You’re going to drop deep, get the ball and then release your teammates. Of course, you need to defend when you need to, and release space for other teammates.
“It’s a difficult campaign for them, and it’s been a difficult time that they’re going through, and now when another striker comes in, of course, there’s a lot of competition. When you buy a striker, you’ll find yourself saying, “Well, am I going to play? Is it my place at United? Is I still here? Should I start looking for a club?”
“Or, “Imperfect, I like competition. Now I’ll show you. Now I’m going to fight for my place. Now I’ll bring some fire.”
“So, it’s a two-way scenario. You choose what I said. So let’s see what they bring to the table.” Also, Berbatov explained that if Amorim wants to make the most of him in the future, he must be wanted and cherished by Hozilund, explaining that the competition could turn out to be positive for the young.
He added: “You always want to compete, but at the same time as a striker, we think we are special, so you have to feel that on a team, your coach, everyone is welcome and want.
“Then your motivations will be higher and your self-esteem will be higher. That’s a lot of factors. It’s not easy, but it’s all in your head.”
To do this, Amorim will need to block Hozilund’s right to transfer as the summer transfer window is beginning to come to an end. Now United are about to say goodbye to Hodglund to Old Trafford, about £30 million, despite the striker claiming he wants to stay and fight for his place.
With Hojlund already in Berbatov’s mindset, it’s up to Amorim to change the board’s attitude towards players to see if healthy competition can really thrive in a fresh season. But now it appears AC Milan is set to approach the Red Devils and take him to Sanshiro for a new season.
The change in scenery also helps to benefit Hozilund, especially as he excels in Serie A before, as he tries to find his foot again.
