Chelsea have made their position on Andrei Santos’ future clear, with a number of Premier League clubs showing interest in the 22-year-old Brazilian midfielder.
Chelsea are set to accept an offer for Andrej Santos this summer, with several Premier League clubs thought to be keeping an eye on the midfielder’s situation. Manchester United and Newcastle are also said to be interested.
United are keen to strengthen their central midfield options and the club have already reached an agreement to sign Ederson from Atalanta. The Red Devils have decided that the summer deals for Matheus Fernandes and Elliott Anderson, who joined Tottenham and Manchester City respectively, are too expensive.
Santos is attracting interest from the Blues’ top-flight rivals, with his future at Stamford Bridge uncertain. The 22-year-old has four years left on his contract in west London, and although Chelsea are not actively forcing the midfielder to leave, they are open to bids for his signature as long as they meet their valuation.
Santos played 43 games in all competitions for the Blues in 2025/26, but only 25 of them were in the starting XI. With Chelsea unable to qualify for Europe next season, Santos’ chances could be further reduced, especially with the Blues signing a central midfielder in the summer market.
Chelsea signed Santos from Vasco da Gama in 2023 for £18m, during which time he spent time on loan at Nottingham Forest and Strasbourg. The west London side reportedly value him at £50m.

Chelsea remain in an equal position regarding Enzo Fernandes. Fernandes would be allowed to leave if a potential buyer were willing to meet the £120m asking price.
However, that scenario is becoming increasingly unlikely after Real Madrid released an official statement on Friday morning confirming that they have “no intention” to go ahead with signing the Argentine this summer. People close to Stamford Bridge remain indifferent to the situation.
Chelsea plan to bring Fernandes back into the squad if no club can meet their asking price, with the midfielder set to join Xabi Alonso’s side next season.

Valentin Barco is expected to move from Strasbourg, providing Alonso with another much-needed option in the center of midfield. Chelsea are yet to officially announce the signing of the Argentina international, but sources close to the deal insist he will head to the Bridge in the coming weeks.
Chelsea appear to have failed in their bid to sign Granit Xhaka from Sunderland. Alonso was keen to link up with the 33-year-old midfielder once again after their trophy-laden partnership at Bayer Leverkusen, but the Black Cats are adamant and insist they cannot sign him at any cost this summer.
