Mikel Arteta remains eager to strengthen his team this summer, but Eberechi Eze’s £68 million release clause has proven too tough for Arsenal after already spending £195 million.

Arsenal’s summer spending has yet to reach a conclusion with Mikel Arteta and transfer chief Andrea Berta.

Gunner forked £195 million with six new signatures so far, with the latest Viktor Gyokers lined up to make their debut with Hong Kong-friendly Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday afternoon. However, Eze, who played for the club’s academy as a boy, is targeted by Arteta, who has determined that he has enough deep enough to eventually convert to second place.

However, as reported by Athletic, it is expected that the transaction will only take place if the palace lowers the asking price. The English offensive midfielder has a £68 million release clause for Selhurst Park. I think Arsenal is too expensive.

And while Eze is in favor of a move across the Thames, the palace is not subject to financial pressure to sell.

The FA Cup winners are awaiting a decision from the Arbitration Court for Sports after filing an appeal against UEFA’s decision to oust them from the UEFA Europa League as the governing body has decided to enforce multi-club ownership regulations.

Instead, they will be taking on their place in a less favorable conference league with Nottingham Forest taking their place.

Meanwhile, Arsenal is preparing for a new attack on the Champions League and a domestic problem with Starman Bukayosaka.

“Yeah, we are very excited to have some new signatures,” Saka said on the Eastern Tour. “The same group, we are all top quality players. We are confident in having a big year.”

Arsenal will begin their Premier League season on August 17th with a trip to Manchester United. They have already made some big moves in the transfer market, but adding Gyoker to the team can also ask for further reinforcement of the offense.
