Spurs have announced that Alejo Velis will leave the club on July 1 and join Brazilian side Bahia.
The 22-year-old joined Tottenham from Rosario in 2023 for £13m, but manager Roberto De Zerbi has made a decision on the striker.
“We have reached an agreement with Bahia for the transfer of Alejo Velis, who will join the Brazilian club on July 1st,” the club said in a statement.
“Striker Alejo joined from Rosario Central in his native Argentina in the summer of 2023 and made eight first-team appearances in our colors, scoring a Premier League goal against Brighton & Hove Albion in December of the same year.
“He then spent loan spells in Spain with Sevilla and Espanyol before returning to Rosario on loan in July last year for the 2025/26 season.
“Alejo will be making a permanent move to the Brazilian top flight. We wish him all the best for the future.”
