Bradley Barcola is a key part of France’s World Cup squad, but speculation is rife about his future at club level, with Liverpool keen to sign the Paris Saint-Germain forward.

Liverpool have made a new move to sign Bradley Barcola, who is willing to leave Paris Saint-Germain. Barcola, 23, is of interest to the Reds as they look to revamp their attack.

Mo Salah’s departure and Hugo Ekitike’s long-term injury have left a vacancy in Liverpool’s front line for the 2026-27 season. Kodi Gakpo may also leave the club after Arne Slott was sacked and replaced by Andoni Iraola.

Liverpool have already signed Victor Munoz for £34m and offered fellow winger Yann Diomande a staggering £86m, which RB Leipzig immediately rejected. But Barcola is also on their shopping list.

French newspaper Le10 Sport has reported that Liverpool have made a new attempt to sign the France international, who scored in last week’s World Cup opening match. Barcora is said to be tempted by a move to Anfield as he is impressed by Liverpool’s project and excited by the idea of playing in the Premier League.

As for PSG, they are willing to allow the 23-year-old to leave if he wishes to leave. The European champions added that they had identified several possible replacements.

Arsenal have also been linked with Barcola, who joined PSG from Lyon three years ago in a deal worth up to £43 million. There is no doubt that Luis Enrique’s side will be hoping to benefit from the forward, who has scored 39 goals and provided 35 assists in 152 appearances for PSG.

Barcola opened his account after appearing on the pitch for just two minutes in the final stages of France’s 3-1 victory over Senegal at the World Cup. He then started in a rain-soaked game against Iraq on Monday, winning 3-0.

Barcola has remained tight-lipped about his future, but manager Enrique has made it clear he wants to keep Barcola. “There is no doubt that he will remain our player,” the PSG coach said last season.

“We like the fact that our players are interesting to other clubs, but he is one of the young players we are looking forward to. I expect him to play here for many more years.”
