Arsenal may have already won their first Premier League title in 22 years, but rather than satisfy them, it has made their thirst for the Champions League even stronger.
Mikel Arteta said: “The ambition is bigger. We had one and now we want the second. That’s all we’ve been talking about. We have to have a platform to reach bigger destinations and aim for more.”
“And the team has the ability because we have shown it in this competition the last two seasons. What we have done this season in this competition and I want the players to have confidence that we will win.”
“I think it’s an opportunity to seize this moment, because, as you said, this is the second time in our history that we’re here and tomorrow we have the opportunity to write a new chapter in the history of this football club.”
