Piers Morgan makes a crazy promise if Arsenal win the Champions League final

Arsenal are set to face French giants Paris Saint-Germain in Saturday’s Champions League final, but famous fan Piers Morgan has vowed to attend the match if the Gunners win.

Arsenal fan Piers Morgan has vowed to celebrate a potential Champions League win by wearing a full Gunners kit and going “full John Terry”. Mikel Arteta’s side face French giants Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest on Saturday.

The North London side go into the game as Premier League champions, despite having never won Europe’s top competition. Meanwhile, PSG will aim to win a trophy in consecutive seasons.

Morgan took full part in Arsenal’s trophy lift at Selhurst Park and was even spotted celebrating with the players on the pitch. And he promised that if the team succeeds in Europe, things will get even better.

Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: “I was a bit annoyed at the audacity of two months ago to pay full price for four tickets to Selhurst Park and then accept an invitation that turned out to be the fun of winning a trophy.”

“I was then invited to the chairman’s lounge, had a great time, met all the Arsenal players and then was invited to go pitchside for the trophy lift.

“If there is an Arsenal fan in the world who would have said no at that moment, please give me their name and details. So, as Conor McGregor would say, I apologize for not doing anything at all.”

“If we win the Champions League tomorrow night, I’m going to take a full Arsenal kit to Budapest, and if we win the Champions League, I’m going to bring everyone a full John Terry set.”

John Terry famously lifted the Champions League trophy for Chelsea in full kit in 2012 despite being suspended for the match itself. Morgan has already been forced to speak out in recent days for his role in Arsenal’s title celebrations.

One fan asked X: “Why were Piers Morgan and his gang on the pitch at Selhurst Naut worse than the noisy celebrity fans, especially the ones who called for Arteta’s head so many times in the early days?”

Morgan replied: “Maybe I had the foresight to buy four tickets at the beginning of March when I felt it could be a big day for the club I’ve supported for 55 years. As for Arteta, he proved me and a lot of people wrong and I couldn’t be happier.”

Yet another fan questioned how the broadcaster managed to get Declan Rice’s medal around his neck, to which Morgan replied: “I didn’t pay for Declan to run up and put my winner’s medal around my neck for a photo, that’s true. But I was thrilled he did it.”
