Premier League clubs, including Manchester United and Arsenal, are charging an astounding £85 for their latest kits.

The mega’s wealthy club slapped £5 on the shirt price in urging them to stop pushing fans’ loyalty. Man City, Newcastle UTD, Liverpool and Aston Villa also raised prices for the same amount. This corresponds to 6%.
Tottenham frozen the shirt price for £85, while Chelsea frozen the price at £84.99. In total, 11 clubs are hiking the prices of adult shirts, according to the official club’s website.
Everton, Brighton, Brentford and Crystal Palace have increased prices by £5, while wolves have added a modest £2 to their shirts. Wolves and new Premier League boys Burnley and Sunderland are charging fans the minimum amount for their shirts.
Everton, Tottenham and Chelsea sell the most expensive kids shirts. Everton has increased its junior price by £10 and its cost to £65. This amounts to an 18% increase in price. Tottenham frozen prices at £65, while Chelsea frozen prices for child shirts this season at £64.99.

Arsenal, Aston Villa, Mann UTD, Leeds United and Crystal Palace are all increasing prices by £5. At the other end of the spectrum, Brentford and the Wolves have the cheapest shirts for the price of £45. The average price for Premier League Kids Shirts reached £56.25
Inflationary prices are fueling the black market for fake shirts. They are openly sold via social media, including one site called Dhgate.
Fan James Smith, 37, of Newcastle UTD, was in St. James Park, where 10-year-old children Freddie and Elsie (Elsie) were at St. James Park this weekend. He states:
“I think most fans are ready to pay £50 for a shirt and £35 for a junior kit. I’ve got a retro shirt these days, but more people are heading to Dhgate.
“The only way to get real things these days is as a gift for Christmas or birthdays, especially if you have kids, it’s too much for regular fans.
University education manager Claire Nicole has just purchased a new Newcastle United kit for her son Jack. Both are loyal season ticket holders, but Claire said:
“But we’ve done it before, but it’s not good when players are sold. We’re true Newcastle supporters and season ticket holders. It’s different when shirt money goes to clubs to improve the stadium or signs players.
Brentford’s new kit has a one-year cycle, the only club in the Premier League, after running a two-year cycle previously. This year, the club’s home kit will celebrate 100 years of red and white. The partnership between the club and shirt sponsor Hollywoodbets will end in 2025/26 in line with a voluntary ban on Premier League front gambling sponsors.
The club is understood to be intended to return to a two-year cycle to maintain affordable, sustainable kits that are covered by the partnership agreement. Sports digital PR company Stadia Agency has spent months in the black market for soccer shirts from Casino Kings, betting partners of Wigan Athletic and Hartlepool UTD. They found that the average discount is 82.7% for adult shirts this season, or 76.1% or £43 for the child’s version.
Several clubs, including Man City Newcastle, are currently selling versions of shirts worn by players on the pitch. The Toon Top is £120. The shorts cost an additional £38 and the official Newcastle UTD Club Shop socks cost £20. The Magpie Green Away Shirt with the added Premier League Badge is £95. The player’s name is 111 pounds on the back. A women’s team replica shirt costs £85. One seller said he would be the buyer of Dhgate: “Only £14. Don’t pay Spurs for £85!”
The fake Manchester United shirt was offered online for $15 USD. This is equivalent to 11.63 pounds. One fan posted a Red Devils shirt with the name on the back and sold it for £140. He told his followers: “And why do people go to other sites?”
Newcastle is donating £5 from all adult shirts sold through official channels by the end of August to boost grassroots and social impact initiatives in the Northeast. The Premier League has no control over pricing for individual clubs. Their spokesman, like Newcastle United spokesman, declined to comment.
