Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard and his wife Laura Hilbin have been granted a divorce, days after it was reported that they deleted photos of themselves as a couple from social media.
The wife of Arsenal star Leandro Trossard has confirmed that she has broken up with the Belgian international. Laura Hilven revealed in a social media post that the couple had broken up after 13 years.
An integral member of Mikel Arteta’s side, Trossard played a key role in taking the Gunners to the top of English football and remains locked in a battle with Manchester City.
The 31-year-old scored the winning goal as Arsenal won a crucial London derby against West Ham United, extending their lead at the top of the table.
However, in the run-up to the match, he hit the headlines after his partner appeared to delete all traces of him from social media, sparking speculation about their relationship.
Hilbin had previously shared photos with the former Brighton attacker, but Trossard has not appeared on her feed since late last year and any trace of their wedding photo has also been erased with the social media image being deleted.

The 33-year-old revealed that both she and the footballer had split amicably and reiterated that she remains devoted to their two children.
“With deep love, care, and respect for each other, we have made the very difficult decision to part ways amicably,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
“This was not a rash choice. In fact, we have been living apart for some time, during which time we have taken the necessary space and time to work through this privately and thoughtfully.
“Our decision comes from a place of mutual understanding and a shared desire to create the healthiest and happiest future for everyone involved. Most importantly, we are and always will be devoted parents to our two beautiful children.”
“Thank you for your compassion, understanding, and privacy during this very personal transition. With love, Laura.”

Trossard’s goal was crucial in preventing City from opening the door for Josep Guardiola’s side after they fell behind in a dramatic 2-2 draw with Everton.
Despite City’s 3-0 win over Crystal Palace on Wednesday, they remain two points clear despite having the same number of games remaining.
After the weekend’s game-winning moment, Trossard said: “I was pretty nervous at the end, but I’m really happy that everything went my way.
“You have to keep going until the last moment. Especially in that game, we knew what we were playing for, so we knew it was going to be a tough game. But I was really relieved that the ball went in the back of the net.”
“We believed we could keep a clean sheet, because we’re good at that too. So, credit to the players. Everyone fought well, so I think it’s a well-deserved win.”
