Leipzig is waiting, hoping Manchester United will bid for Sesco to create competitive tensions, according to Talksport.
The 13-time Premier League champions have yet to submit official bids, but after discussing with Leipzig and the players themselves, they remain in the race to sign the striker.
Before Newcastle’s bid, Leipzig had concerns that Sesco had offered to travel to Old Trafford. However, the former Red Bull Salzburg man has not shown which of the two clubs would like to participate.

The report says Newcastle has announced bids worth £65.5 million and £4 million on the Sesco add-on.
However, Leipzig rejected the offer because he deemed the entire package unacceptable in terms of total costs and the structure of the transaction.
And the Bundesliga club has yet to drop their demands since Arsenal was pursuing an ace.
Sesko joined Leipzig from Salzburg two summers ago, scoring 27 goals with 64 Bundesliga appearances.
He also found six net backs while appearing in the 16 Champions League to the club, earning a brace in competition with Juventus last season.
The star, who scored 16 goals in his country’s 41 appearances, was removed from the Leipzig team on Saturday due to preseason friendliness against Atalanta.
And after that match, the managing director of RB Leipzig, Sportsmarcel Schaefer, was asked about the player’s absence.
