Injured Jack Grealish is on loan at Everton from Manchester City this season and the winger was also spotted talking to referee Michael Oliver after his side drew 3-3.
Jack Grealish was spotted talking to Michael Oliver shortly after Manchester City and Everton’s dramatic 3-3 draw on Monday night.
A second-half burst at Hill Dickinson Stadium saw City’s title hopes slip away as they gave up a 1-0 lead. Everton turned the game on its head and took a 3-1 lead shortly after regaining parity, but Jeremy Doku came on strong in the 97th minute to score a stunning equalizer to restore a point to the visitors.
The result means City are no longer in control of their own destiny, with Arsenal having played one game more than Josep Guardiola’s side and now five points clear at the top of the table.
Although currently injured, Grealish was caught between a rock and a hard place on Monday night as an Everton player on loan from Manchester City.

And although he was unable to take part in the match, footage of the 31-year-old chatting with referee Oliver was published in X. Neither team seemed too thrilled with the result, with Everton missing out on a famous victory thanks to Doc’s late goal, and City dropping a valuable point in the title race.
Guardiola admitted that with Arsenal holding all the cards, it would be difficult for City to beat Arsenal and claim the Premier League crown, even if they fall short of conceding a clean sheet. After the match, the player said, “We got the points, so we’re going to continue until the end of the game.”
“It’s better than losing. We played to win. That just shows what a team we are. We worked hard and we got it done. It’s not in our hands. It was in our hands before. It’s different now.”
“We have to do that in four games in the Premier League and it will be quite similar against Brentford. We will see what happens.”
Just before half-time, Doc gave Manchester City the lead with another spectacular strike, but after the final whistle, he looked even more depressed.
“It’s painful right now,” he said. “We still have a lot of games left. Today we conceded two points. We will keep fighting and we owe it to ourselves and the fans.”
