Manchester United bosses are becoming increasingly confident that Bruno Fernandes will commit his future to the English giants following the team’s recent success and the possibility of a summer deal.
Manchester United believe they have enough to secure Champions League qualification and prevent Bruno Fernandes from leaving Old Trafford.
And with United needing two more points in their remaining four league games to seal a top-five spot, club bosses are increasingly convinced that Fernandes is not going anywhere.
The Portugal national team has a big decision to make this summer. He is under contract at United until 2027, with an option for an additional 12 months. United are under no obligation to give the attacking midfielder a new and improved contract. However, United’s owners understand that his influence on the team going forward will be vital to the club’s chances of great success.
The 31-year-old has a £57m release clause in his contract, meaning United are powerless to keep him if the club he wants to join matches that amount.

Fernandes has made it clear that he wants United to match his ambitions when it comes to winning big trophies.
But with United poised to secure a return to European football’s top table, the English giants will be in a stronger position to attract top targets to Old Trafford.
Midfield targets include Elliott Anderson, Carlos Baleva, Aurelien Choameni, Federico Valverde and Adam Wharton.
The only potential obstacle lies in the management situation. Michael Carrick has done a fantastic job since taking over on an interim basis.
However, United are considering all options on the table before making a final decision. Fernandes is close to Carrick and wants United to hand him the job full-time.
The former Sporting Lisbon star joined United for £47m in 2020 and has gone on to become one of the greatest players of the past decade.
Despite United’s recent woes, Fernandes has been a model of consistency. He is one away from reaching the Premier League record of 20 assists in a season and is also considered a favorite to win both the PFA and FWA Player of the Year awards.
