How can I compare Premier League season ticket prices?

Manchester City are the latest club to announce a freeze on season ticket prices for the 2026/27 season. But how do the costs compare to other top airlines?

The current Premier League season is drawing to a close with Josep Guardiola’s City battling it out with Arsenal for the title, with the race for Champions League qualification drawing ever closer, with some of the biggest names struggling to avoid the fall of Tottenham and West Ham.

The Hammers currently offer the cheapest season tickets for adults, but surprisingly City are the second cheapest. This will continue next season after the club announced last week that it would freeze all matchday fees, which was widely praised. The decision was rubber-stamped on Thursday after consultation with fan board City Matters.

Mirror Football looks at how this compares to other Premier League clubs, as rivals Manchester United have increased prices by 5% in some areas.

The most affordable adult season ticket for all 19 of United’s home Premier League games next season is priced at £646, while City tickets cost just £425 for supporters.

Only West Ham, whose survival at the top of the table remains uncertain, are offering more affordable season tickets at £345. Also, this figure only reflects prices for 2025/26 and is subject to change in the next campaign.

United sit eighth in the current list, which incorporates 2025/26 prices for clubs such as the Hammers, but ticket prices for the 2026/27 season have yet to be revealed.

Arsenal are in the lead, with the cheapest adult season ticket for next season priced at £967. The top three are all London clubs, with Chelsea in second place (£880) and Tottenham in third place (£856).

Spurs remain frozen in prices for the 2026/27 season, while Chelsea are yet to confirm their costs after a long price freeze ended last year. Aston Villa have likewise not announced prices for next season, but due to the temporary closure of the North Stand, the cheapest season ticket could reach £804.

Liverpool are one of the clubs to have increased the price of their season tickets, with the cheapest ticket currently on sale for £734, which equates to an increase of around 3%.

During the Premier League match between Liverpool and Crystal Palace at Anfield, Liverpool fans held up posters protesting against soaring ticket prices, with owner John Henry holding up a poster that read: ``Attention, the soul of Anfield is at risk.''

Merseyside rivals Everton have taken a similar approach, with the cheapest ticket at the new Hill Dickinson Stadium set at £640, a 5% increase.

When it comes to the steepest price rises, Sunderland supporters face an almost 12% increase in season ticket prices following their success in the Premier League. Burnley and Wolves, who were relegated, were both excluded.

Coventry City will be competing in the top flight next season and introduced a loyalty scheme during their promotional campaign, which will set supporters back £500 on the cheapest ticket, leaving them 16th. In addition to Spurs and City, Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace have also frozen prices for the 2026/27 season.
