Comparing the last match between Arsenal and Manchester City, the only draw between the two teams was the number of goals.
Manchester City took the lead in the Premier League title race with a 1-0 victory over Burnley. Arsenal and City are currently level on 70 points, with the same number of wins and losses and the same goal difference.
City lead purely on points (66-63), but they won’t play another league game until May 4, when they face Southampton in the FA Cup semi-final. The Gunners can regain top spot if they avoid defeat at Newcastle on Saturday, but realistically they will need all three points to increase the pressure on Pep Guardiola’s side.
Arsenal supporters are understandably nervous as they watch the lead they once held over City steadily shrink. But past results against their remaining rivals may offer a glimmer of hope as the Gunners look to end their long wait for a league title…

verdict
If these results are repeated, which is unlikely, Arsenal will lift the Premier League trophy aloft, but only after a nail-biting showdown on the final day. The Gunners came from behind to win all five of their remaining rivals, but City won four of their five games, losing only to Villa, who visit the Etihad on the final day.
