The summer transfer window has reached a critical stage, with Manchester United, Liverpool, Newcastle and Tottenham all involved in some of the premier league large deals

With only 29 days to begin the Premier League season, the team is far from complete, with some major relocations still in the pipeline.

With the Club World Cup over, the focus is now on the preseason, with the team spurting around the world to build fitness. However, for supporters, there is still a question of who will play on their side in the 2025/26 season.

We’ve seen several sagas develop over the past few months – we’re looking at your Viktor Gyoker – other stories have appeared recently. The club will have to close the transaction until September 1st, but the manager will desperately want to do them before the season begins, so the race with the watch begins.

Here, Miller Football looks at the most well-known potential transfers across the Premier League, both in sales and acquisitions, providing the latest progress. Strap yourself, go here.

Viktor Gyoker goes to Arsenal

The Swedish striker is trapped in a move to the Premier League.

Gyoker is eager to leave Sports Lisbon and move to a larger league to test himself this summer. At 27, he wants to make a jump just two years after leaving Coventry City for Portugal. “I’m sure I can achieve anything I managed to do in sports anywhere,” he said. “You haven’t seen the best gyoker yet.”

Arsenal has given full attention from Benjamin Sesco to Gyoker and sports director Andrea Berta, and has negotiated somewhat extensively with the Portuguese club.

But now, after the threat of strike and the president’s rage, a deal has been agreed between the two clubs, personal terms with players are classified, and the £63.6 million deal is all carved into it, and it’s only a matter of time before he becomes an Arsenal player.

Alexander Isaac from Liverpool

A story that explodes and then appears to be similarly fast time.

Like Arsenal before them, Liverpool declared their interest in signing Newcastle’s goal machine. They approached the magpie around subjects on Tuesday, bringing the idea of a £120 million transfer of the blockbuster.

This summer, already spent £170 million to sign Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez and Co, there was an understandable shock among rival fans.

The Reds believed the deal was feasible as the sale of Darwin Nuñez offset the costs, but the big stumbling block turns out to be Newcastle’s stance. Isaac is not on sale. And that led them to the next player on our list.

Hugo Ekichike to Liverpool

Newcastle and Liverpool will be joining the transfer business this summer. Eddie Howe’s side bid for Ekitique £70 million earlier this week, but only sees the offer being rejected. And now, Liverpool is not only chasing the Frankfurt striker, but is closing quickly.

The Reds rang the German side and told them they were ready to bid, knowing where the bar was set thanks to Newcastle’s rejection. And Miller Football supports the 23-year-old’s move beyond St. James Park to Anfield, and understands that personal terms have already been agreed with the French.

Liverpool came to this conclusion after Newcastle decided that he would not overcome Isaac. The fact that their alternatives were also the best targets of magpies is coincidental, which makes the whole situation more intriguing.

Darwinnes from Saudi Arabia

Liverpool wants to sell Nunes, who hasn’t met his claim. The Uruguayans are scheduled to join Naples and agreed to move, but Liverpool has been postponed for £700 million and the Serie A champion has paid only £50 million, thus halting the relocation fee.

That could still change, but with Naples signing Lorenzo Lucca from Udinese, that street may be shut down. Instead, it is Saudi Arabia for Nunes and seeks his services. It is allegedly been identified as a target for the former Benfica boss, Simone Inzagi, if she didn’t sign Victor Osimhen.

Marcus Rashford to Barcelona

Rashford was not wanted by Manchester United and was placed in a bomb squad by Reuben Amorim while he was trying to find a new club. The problem is that Rashford only has one club’s eye: Barcelona.

He rejects approach from Saudi Arabia despite their favourable nature and is waiting for Barka. However, there are many hurdles. Rashford is paid £325,000 a week at United and is on the contract until June 2028. He is willing to lower wages, but United wants to sell, and Barca wants to trade loans due to financial circumstances.

This seems like we’ll need to compromise for a while.

Alejandro Garnacho

Garnacho is on the same boat as Rashford. They train separately from their United teammates while awaiting transfers elsewhere. He attracted interest from Naples, but is understood to prefer to move towards Premier League rivals.

While Aston Villa, Chelsea and Tottenham are keeping an eye on his situation, United’s £70 million valuation is a clear barrier to the deal, his attitude towards the end of last season may have put off some suitors. The 21-year-old has signed a contract with United until June 2028, but it appears there is no future under Reuben Amorim. United have so far failed to shift unwanted players (groups that include Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia), and become increasingly desperate as they approach September 1st.

Brian Mbeumo to Manchester United

One of the reasons they want Rashford, Garnacho, Sancho and Koi to leave is that they have space and more funds to sign Mbeumo. Brentford has solidified Cameroon International, who spent 20 goals in the Premier League last season.

United have rejected a £45 million offer for the add-on, but also rejected a follow-up offer of £55 million and a £7.5 million bonus. There’s a sense that a deal will happen because Mbeumo wants to move to Old Trafford and Brentford doesn’t want to be there.

But they are also pleased to limp and get the best deal possible. The director of Brentford’s Football Fill Giles is the guy who keeps the process going. Now we’ll learn if United’s final take-or-leave-it offer is enough.

From Mark Guech to Liverpool

Guehi is unfamiliar with Saga’s transfer, which was the subject of Newcastle’s interest last summer. It ended when Crystal Palace refused a £70 million bid for the English centre-back, but rumors have returned this summer.

Liverpool is hoping to be a centre-back after Jarrell Kuansa sets off for Bayer Lebakusen, and will be leaving for Real Madrid amid rumours of Ibrahima Connate. Guehi is entering the final year of his contract with the palace, and the report suggests that he is willing to wait for it. The palace is now worth Guehi for £40 million and the ball is in the courthouse in Liverpool.

Morgan Gibbs White to Tottenham

Things got ugly here. Tottenham will bid £60 million from the playmaker, but will only respond by considering legal action on what Nottingham Forest considers an illegal approach.

The £60 million bid sparked a Gibbs White release clause, with the Spurs trying to line up the medical care of the English star. Tottenham is understood to be sure they will get their man, as they chose Gibbs White over the palace star Ebeki Eze.

Forest is upset that the Spurs know the exact details of the Star Player release clause, and could complain to the Premier League and potentially hold his exit.

Nicholas Jackson to Manchester United

This came out of the left field. The idea that Chelsea might sell Jackson is no surprise. The potential destination is intriguing given that they signed Liam Dellup and Joa Pedro this summer.

Chelsea is said to be valuing Jackson for £100 million after hearing about interest from AC Milan. United were able to return Rasmus Hojlund to Serie A, and Joshua Zirkusie is not convinced. This means another striker can move to complement Matthews Cunya and Mbeumo.
