Alejandro Garnacho ‘torn apart by Chelsea team in the dressing room’ at half-time Soccer | Sports

Alejandro Garnacho was reportedly forced to lie down by Chelsea players at half-time of the Blues’ defeat to Manchester United. Garnacho came on as a substitute early in the match after Estevao was forced off the pitch due to an injury.

Initially, he was unable to make an impact on Chelsea’s attack on the right, but manager Liam Rosenior moved him to the left, where he excels. However, it was not very effective as Garnacho continued to suffer throughout the 1-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge.

Garnacho, of course, joined from United in the summer transfer window for a fee rumored to be in the region of £40 million. The Argentine received plenty of inspiration from the traveling United fans during Saturday night’s Premier League match, but the inspiration didn’t end there as far as Garnacho was concerned.

According to The Sun, Chelsea players were unhappy with Garnacho’s contribution, claiming some even listened to him during the half-time interval. Meanwhile, former United team-mates celebrated the win over Garnarcho on social media, with Luke Shaw posting a photo of Garnarcho rattling the former Red Devil.

He received likes and comments from teammates Dalot, Fernandes, Cunha, Joshua Zirkzee, Aiden Heaven, Lisandro Martinez, Patrick Dorg and Mason Mount. United’s official social media accounts also clipped a video of Garnacho being tackled by several players, which received much praise from fans online.

This comes after Garnacho made inflammatory comments in the final days of his United career, including criticizing then-manager Ruben Amorim for not starting the Europa League final. Shortly after, he angered fans by posting a photo of Marcus Rashford wearing an Aston Villa shirt, after he had agreed a move to Chelsea.

The winger recently opened up about his actions to Premier League Productions, with the 21-year-old saying: “I remember in the last six months I wasn’t playing as much as I used to at Manchester United. I started sitting on the bench. It’s not that bad – I was only 20 – but in my mind it was like I had to play every game.”

“In my mind, maybe it was me too. I started doing bad things. But it’s just a moment in life and sometimes you have to make a decision. I’m really proud to be at[Chelsea]and still in the Premier League with a club like this. I have nothing to say about United, the club or anyone at the club or my team-mates. It was just a moment that changed and life goes on. I have no regrets.”
