Liverpool reportedly saw the official bid of Alexander Isaac, which was rejected by Newcastle United. The striker went to AWOL last month and was not involved in Newcastle’s pre-season Asian tour and instead chose to train with former club Real Sociedad.
Isak is said to be on sale this summer in the transition to Premier League champions, which have already welcomed Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong and Hugo Ekitike. While personal terms are not expected to cause problems, Liverpool’s biggest hurdle is likely to lead Newcastle to agree to the deal.
