Chelsea were forced to make an early substitution due to injury in the Premier League match against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
Estevao suffered a hamstring injury in the Premier League match against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge, forcing Chelsea to make an early substitution. Depending on the severity of this setback, his season could end early.
The Brazil international was replaced by Alejandro Garnacho after just 15 minutes. It was the first match for Estevao’s replacement against his old club.
This latest setback comes just a month after returning from a new hamstring injury. The 18-year-old missed six games because of that last problem, and Chelsea only have six games left.

Estevao made his first Premier League start in two months against Manchester City last weekend, but now faces another spell on the sidelines. There are less than two months left until this summer’s World Cup.
Liam Rosenior highlighted Estevao before the match. When asked about the player’s strengths, he told TNT Sports: “Just his fearlessness. His technical ability, his ability to fight one-on-one or two-on-one sometimes. He is an outstanding player.”
“He has worked very hard and wants to learn.” Coach Rosenior continued to praise the player’s attitude, adding: “He is very humble and wants to improve.”

“He’s always smiling and I love that because he really enjoys football and he has a great family who raised him in a great way.
“So with that foundation, he can continue to do whatever he wants to do in his career. He can be and do whatever he wants to do.”
However, Rosenior refused to focus on whether Estevao would ever win the Ballon d’Or. He said, “I don’t like to talk about personal accolades. I want him to focus on the now and continue to grow.”
Sky Sports, HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+ and Ultimate TV packages

Sky has upgraded its Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundles to include HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+, discovery+ and Hayu, plus 135 channels and complete coverage of the Premier League and EFL from Sky.
Sky has over 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more, with at least 215 of them live from the top flight, along with F1, darts and golf.
“But like I said, given his temperament and ability, with a little bit of luck and effort, he could do anything he wants.”Estebao hasn’t been very lucky with injuries this season, however.
He has missed a total of 10 games due to injury or illness. However, the forward scored eight goals and assisted three more during his debut season in England.
