Koby Mainou is in Manchester United’s squad for Saturday’s game against Chelsea, but Lenny Yolo is conspicuously absent from the squad heading to London and his availability remains in doubt.
Mainu missed the game against Leeds due to a minor injury sustained in training, making it his first absence since Michael Carrick took over as manager. Speaking at a press conference in Carrington on Friday, Carrick confirmed that Mynoux is “working towards” full fitness, but a final decision has yet to be made.
United departed for London with Minoo on Friday afternoon, but Yoro was nowhere to be seen at Stockport station. His possible absence would represent a significant setback for Carrick, who are already dealing with suspended pair Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez.

Patrick Dorg (hamstring injury) and Matthijs de Ligt (back injury) are unavailable. Manager Carrick handed youngsters Shea Lacey and Tyler Fletcher their places in the squad to face Chelsea. Both players were on the bench against Leeds and earned the opportunity to travel to the capital.
United will be desperate to bounce back against Chelsea after losing 2-1 to Leeds earlier in the week. The Yorkshire side held a two-goal advantage by half-time, and United’s hopes of a fightback effectively ended when Martinez was given his marching orders in the 59th minute. Martinez grabbed Dominic Calvert-Lewin by the hair and was immediately given a red card for assault. The defender was handed a three-match ban and will miss games against Chelsea, Liverpool and Brentford.
Maguire was also banned from the visit to Stamford Bridge after an FA charge of inappropriate behavior towards a fourth official was upheld and he received an additional one-match penalty.
Chelsea lost 3-0 at home to Manchester City last weekend. Liam Rosenior took over in January but has already come under scrutiny following Chelsea’s dismal run of results.
