Trent Alexander-Arnold’s younger brother has hit back at Liverpool supporters with a furious social media rant after the Reds were knocked out of the Champions League. They were double-crossed by PSG without scoring, and their hopes for European glory were dashed. Alexander-Arnold also had a painful experience at Real Madrid, succumbing to Bayern Munich and leaving the club.
His younger brother Marcel was watching Real Madrid’s second leg on stream when he launched a ferocious attack against his brother’s former club. During the half-time break, a viewer asked him: “Weren’t you a Liverpool fan last week?” This seemed to upset Marcel, who reacted angrily, reminding Liverpool fans that the team “simmered down yesterday”.
He was furious: “I’m a Liverpool fan, but the hate here comes purely from Liverpool fans, so I’m going to protect my business.”
“Listen, I’m a Real Madrid fan, but when Liverpool win, I’m happy to see them win. But I care more about my brother than I care about Liverpool. It’s as simple as that.”
“So if anyone hates my brother, I’ll burn any team you support. If it’s Liverpool, so be it. Your team was ready yesterday. Relax.”
“I want Liverpool to win, but if you try to get the satisfaction of fucking my brother just because your team lost, I’ll burn you to death. How do you know which team I’m rooting for? The only people who come to this chat and actively try to be hateful are Liverpool people.
“Bayern Munich fans and purely Spanish-speaking Barcelona fans are not going to sit on my channel. More importantly, I’m going to be angry just like PSG did to your team yesterday, just like (Ousmane) Dembele did to your team yesterday. Goodbye.”

Alexander-Arnold has overcome a lot of criticism since deciding to leave Liverpool and join Real Madrid last year. Since then, Marcel has been quick to defend himself when targeted by Reds supporters on social media.
He even hit back at UFC star Paddy Pimblett, a famous Liverpool fan who described the right-back as a “rat” and “lizard” during an appearance on A League Of Their Own.
“He betrayed his boyhood club, which had done everything for him, to make his life what it is today. And he went to Real Madrid thinking he was going to be the second David Beckham,” Pimblett added. “And now he warms the bench for (Dani) Carvajal. It’s the greatest poetic justice.”
Marcel responded to the footage, mocking Pimblett’s loss to Justin Gaethje in the Octagon, saying: “Paddy, you got beaten up by a 37-year-old fighter. It’s poetic justice.”
“You were warming Justin Gaethje’s gloves in your face. That’s poetic justice. You tried to box with a boxer and got hit. That’s poetic justice. It’s that simple.”
“When you win the championship belt, please come back. We all know that you can’t surpass Ilia (Topuria), you can’t surpass Justin Gaethje, you can’t surpass Armand (Tsarukyan). So when you get the championship belt, you can talk like this.”
